The ratio is pretty much pointless. There are enemies with no weakspots (Shanks, Minos etc) and everytime you kill one of them with the gun of your choice it will lower the ratio (how much, depends on your kills you have with that weapon type). My auto rifle ratio is somehwere at +30% with like 29k kills. So it sounds like I can't aim for the head, which is stupid cauz I do headhshots all the time with these types of guns, even in PvP.
Scout rifle is somehwere at 43% percent. And I'm pretty much sure all players here in that topic have similar stats.

Edited by stealthkiller22: 2/14/2015 1:28:21 AMyeah it a bit farfetched i have 22 percent overall with auto rifle as i mainly used auto rifle to take out enemies with no precision spot the enemies that cant take precision damage then i have suros with 52 percent precision ratio which im guessing this count crucible aswell?

Especially since, without a crit, you use 3-4x as many bullets to kill said enemy. You use a gun on Nightfall, you lose all of your shots into a shield, very skewed percentage.

Yep, that also needs to be taken into consideration. However, it still is an interesting piece of info to look at.
