Why do people complain about xur..
What's up with everyone being ungrateful little shits when it comes to xur.. you know xur could just not be there every week so you can buy stuff from him? Stop crying. Maybe people that weren't able to get the icebreaker are happy as hell. I for one am happy with xur inventory this week. Rant done.
Edit: he's also selling great armor people want. Thanks for the feedback everyone 50+ replies. We obviously know that we need heavy ammo.

I got an icebreaker the third week of the games release, but every time he sells it, I get happy because that means one of my buddies can buy it and be more helpful with raids and strikes, so I personally don't mind. Plus I like the randomness from him because I want to collect all of the exotics, so I very much appreciate Mr. Xur.

Well I'd like to spend the 300 strange coins that I grinded for in weekly heroic strikes. I'm not gonna go spend an hour killing things repeatedly for glimmer when I have over 1000 hours on this game. Xur has the cheapest heavy synth so why would spend all this time to glimmer farm with a cap to get 25 synths. That's stupid. I can get that much in 5 seconds from xur. So I say you guys stop bitching and crying about the people that have been waiting for heavy synth for the past month

I'm only missing three exotics that I want. The chances of xur selling one are very slim so I don't get upset when he doesn't have it. Heavy synth is a luxury. Using heavy synth makes the game too easy. Try it without them

Because the loot system is so bad that we can't get anything good from nightfalls, heroics, strikes, or raids so we hope Mr. Xur has something but always has shit

Try getting screwed over by RNG all week. Then you hope XUR sells something good, but he sells shit he's all ready sold and the majority already has. I'm happy for people didn't have that weapon and got it but there's a little bit of selfishness in everyone.

People became spoiled by the Heavy synth. That's about the only complaint I see today.

For some odd reason, people hinge their whole week on Xur. They cling to some strange logic that Xur will suddenly sell something crazy amazing. It's an addiction like the rest of the game. Fact is, Xur's gonna sell what he's gonna sell... you're working yourselves up over something that you can't change and it doesn't matter much in terms of the game at large. You'll all feel better once you let it go. : )

I mean how difficult is it to earn 27 coins a week between your characters? and then they expect Xur to turn up and sell the Ghorn for 17 coins...............I hope he never sells it and i hope bungie really considers completely removing it from Xur's RNG table. I dont want all my grinding and RNG reliance to become invalid next to some kid with 17 coins who just buys it like its nothing special. As for heavy ammo.......big deal!!!! Stop complaining and buy it from Eris or the gun smith........... Edit: clarified the point where I hope removes Ghorn to be removed from "Xur's" RNG table

Think of it this way. Each week I do the nightfall and weekly heroic three times each. My nightfall rewards are immediate. My weekly heroic rewards, I have to wait to Friday and see if there's anything worth buying. The longer Xur sells nothing I want or can use, the more strange coins I get, the less reason I have to do that weekly heroic. Now this week, while be has nothing I want, and I'm a bit irked that he's selling icebreaker so soon again (though I'm glad some friends who missed it last time can get it this time), it's actually not a bad week. Especially given how useful the hunter and warlock exotics are in Crota HM (creating more orbs, and heals from orbs is great). I'm of course still a bit frustrated at the lack of heavy ammo or an engram that isn't gloves, but it's not that bad a week. Still in general, when he's selling repeats and worthless stuff week after week, that's why I usually complain about xur.

When i wake up on friday. Im happy as hell that its friday. Not because xur is here, but because its friday. I get paid, valentines day is tommorrow. Gonna go to a nice restaurant with my girl and gonna eat an amazing steak and seafood plate. Im happy that the weekend is here. Xur is selling IB yet again? Big deal. People need to realize that destiny is just a game. A game in which i love. A game that i grind and lose sleep for frequently. But if you are a veteran, you should know that xur isnt going to come into tower with a thunderlord/ghorn, heart of praxic fire, arachnid helmet, and heavy synth. Its just not gonna happen. Hes random. Sells random shit every week, some weeks better than other. If you want a ghorn or thunderlord, do atheon on hard 3 times, get the gorgon chest, do deathsinger and crota on hard 3 times, do nightfall 3 times, play some vanguard roc strikes.

To me Xur basically sold some key stuff for the Crota hard mode. IB for ogres and boomers and the death singer and exotic healing helm for crota hard. I was very thankful this morning
