I think the reason people can play those shooters over and over is because even though its on the same map, there are different fighting scenarios happening everytime, especially in a game like battlefield. In games like Destiny, you run through the literal same exact motions, maybe with different guns because it is a preset environment with objectives. Though I did play Cod Ghosts for six months and burned myself out on there.
