Burn out is just an awkward phase that any game has to go through I think, it's just much harder to control and divert when the game has MMO qualities and a minimalistic approach to story content. I really like destiny, and I think that if Bungie listens to its players and decides to at least attempt to pull players deeper into the story, I'm sure that would combat plenty of burn-out.

 • Yeah it would. I have reasonable hopes though. Can't let our expectations get out of check.

 • Agreed. As much as people like to whine, I think Bungie is truly trying to make the game as close as they can to what the masses want. It's not easy when half the time the forums are full of rage-o'-Holics

 • Yeah, the forums can be a bit of a bummer. But I don't expect the majority of the posters to be reasonable because the internet. For example: "I'm a hardcore player and Xur never has anything for me." Xur's not for you, hardcore player. You play a lot, and thus have 90% of the items currently available. The odds of Xur carrying anything you want are infinitesimally small. But logic is stupid, so we should avoid it before someone finds us.
