Totally acceptable to play the games worth and then take a break for a month or so to enjoy other games. Especially considering that's how games, console games specifically, are meant to be played. This isn't wow. It's not mean to be a grind you base your life around. Play some dying light, evolve, or whatever else comes out in March/April. Whenever HoW drops, people will come back, regardless of how good or bad it is. And that's okay, because that's normal. And bungie knows that.

  • 100%. I checked down my playtime in December, after beating Crota in week 1 of TDB. Since then, I've beaten Dragon Age (almost platinum), Dying Light, Costume Quest 2, and played a handful of other games. It's been pretty great.

  • Most people don't want one game to play. I love me some destiny. But I didn't play for a solid month while dragon age was new. And when evolve beta was up, that was my go to. But I've still got 3 characters near max/at 32, and get my weekly crap done. It's a great example of a Long term game, but it's not a game you want to play every single day for a year straight. Totally acceptable. After all, I prefer talking to real people now and again, something that the "WoW" gaming lifestyle doesn't really allow.
