I bought Destiny about 4 days after it was released, I then left Destiny in early November when CoD came out (CoD's always been my main game, but since I liked Halo I gave Destiny a shot). I guess you could say I hit an early burn-out stage and was just frustrated with my VoG/Nightfall drops and the whole PvP aspect. When I left I only had 1 character which was a level 29 warlock. After 2-3 months of CoD (around mid January) I decided to go back to Destiny to see what transpired over those few months. Once I logged in everything felt new again and it was honestly very refreshing. I watched Youtube videos to see how "The Dark Below" was and after liking what I saw I bought it. Since then I have had a vex mytho drop for me, a Vision of Confluence, and most of the highly sought after Crota Weapons (Blackhammer, WoC, Abyss Defiant, etc.) I also spent a week leveling up 2 alts, one being a titan and the other a hunter. I'm now having more fun with Destiny than I did at launch and I think its because of the break I took. I can't see how anyone who plays Destiny as their primary game cannot be burned out by now. I'd suggest take a break and come back.
