what do you want as a new gun type in destiny
Be creative here there are no wrong ideas.
I would like the Spartan laser to be a weapon personally, just called something different "Charge Rifle" was a name I had in mind

An energy based melee weapon that changes depending on sub class, striker is fists that shoot energy balls, defender is a shield that can return attacks, gunslinger whip for aoe, blade dancer, returning shuriken style weapon, Sunsinger and void walker a staff that for ss shoots rapid projectiles, for vw shoots slow but buffs specials damage and nades.
