The group messageing was originally ment for people trying to find groups. While at first it worked great it turned into a chat area and peoples post looking for groups were getting buried due to the chat you can always create a private message with your normal group that's how us admins talk we did not come to this conclusion lightly much discussion was done over the round table and on the forum side post don't get buried as easily so you can post lfg or some other random topic you wish to discuss
