Need tips on preparing for raids

Im a lvl 29 hunter and I haven't done a raid yet. Im looking for some tips on gear, anything that I should bring, and just general tips on the raids itself. Thanks for the help.

I'm on the ps4 add me if you want. Try to max out your weapons add much add you can. Sniper, rocket launcher. And auto rifle would be best
