Can i do VOG with a lvl 24?
or do i really have to spend hours to look for better gear, so i can atleast be lvl 26, i got a legendar from a rare engram, and im a hunter, but it was for a titan, so im kind of upset :/ also only ive been playing this for about a week, so im still a noob :P
Edit: Thanks for all the replies, i got to level 27, so now im waiting for a team to go with. Im also on PS3, and the psn is the same as my name.

5 good mates with higher level should carry you through we did in our group she was a 24 and done got her through

Could. Do I recommend it? No. Because you will be pretty much useless even at lvl 25 if you don't have decent weapons and/or VoG weapons. Not to mention Praetorians will wreck your entire being and Hobgoblins may as well be trickshotting you since you're pretty much one shot regardless.

Please don't. I commend your excitement and willingness to suffer through this raid, but in the Vault of Glass a 2 level difference between you and every enemy you encounter is a mile. You will die frequently, and require a lot of attention through out the mission. There are definitely groups out there willing to carry a player, and if you really want to run it i suggest getting with them. If you can wait to hit 27 and have a few legendary weapons you'll do fine. While an exotic isn't required for VoG normal, It's nice to have. I recommend doing bounties and strikes to get enough marks, and rep to purchase the vanguard gear from the Vanguard Hunter. The gear will get to you 30-31 once it's maxed. If you're 24, purchase the items from the Vanguard Hunter that DO NOT require a vanguard commendation. This will help a lot. Good luck

4 RepliesWhile you will be able to start Vault of Glass on normal as a level 24 (could actually be level 23), the penalty for being below the enemies level is significant. The end boss is level 28, and would be immune from damage from a level 24 guardian. Every other enemy inside the vault would take anywhere from ~32% to 50%+ less damage from a level 24 guardian compared to one that was level 27 or higher. You would also be extremely squishy.

The very minimum level you should be is 25 at 25 it's possible but insanely difficult. If you need to find better gear tower vendors sell stuff that will get you up to lvl 31.

You can enter as low as level 23 but you'll be at a big disadvantage. The enemies at the end are level 28 so you wouldn't even be able to do damage, but I nice team could carry. What console are you? I could help out with the raid and even getting better gear.

I think you can do normal at 24 but you would need a solid group of high levels to carry you
