How to Get the Sword Quest

" After you complete the main story quest, Cayde-6 will ask you to go set up patrol beacons on the dreadnaught. After that you get spammed with quests by everyone in the hall of guardians, and Eris will give you a piece of Willbreaker, Oryx's sword. Shaxx will tell you he can reforge it, and give you the quest." " But that's for a legendary version of the sword. I assume you get another quest later on to turn it into an exotic." That's about it. You'll need to farm for 25 pieces of a certain kind of metal on the Dreadnaught to reforge the sword, and 25 pieces of another material (Spinmetal, Helium Filaments, or Relic Iron I think) before Shaxx can forge you a legendary sword. Also, you only need one secondary type of material, (Spinmetal, Helium Filaments, or Relic Iron) but whichever one you choose will decide which sword you get (Void, Arc, Solar) Which sword will you be forging? [b][u]Update:[/u][/b] So the hunters get a perk called Keen Scout that is awesome. So many awesome features on this perk, one of which is an enhanced tracker. It helps locate objectives in the area on your mini map like materials and chests. You get Hadium Flakes (the material needed to reforge the sword) from chests. So this makes it super easy to find them on the dreadnaught. Weapons also have a chance to roll a version of this perk, but you have to get a kill to activate it. If you did Banshee's weapon testing last week, he had a hakke pulse rifle that came with this perk. Hopefully you didn't dismantle it like I did. [b][u]Update[/u][/b] So I found the best way to farm the Hadium Flakes necessary to forge the blade would be to simply spawn into Dreadnaught patrol and run around in circles counter-clockwise in the immediate spawning area. There are these smaller rooms around the walls that will have a chance to spawn the chests. There's also some chests that spawn by the crashed Cabal ship. In front of it, just inside of it (not very deep or far in at all), and beside it. Again, just keep running around in circles. The Keen Scout perk for Hunter Nightstalkers help [b]a lot[/b]. If you're not a hunter, you night want to bring one. If not, I usually notice some randoms running the farming pattern so maybe you can follow them. Just be sure to keep up or you risk missing the chests. If I'm available, ask me for help. It's probably easier to just show you the route.
