Edited by Rimidalv Nisom: 10/17/2015 1:50:54 AM
Yup, I'm back. Enjoy.
Back In The Saddle Again Earth: Mothyards of Old Russia. 8:56 A.M Sierra stood in a small open plain between the debris of crashed aircraft, knife in hand. A squad of Guardians surrounding her with weapons drawn, all giving her expressionless glares through there helmet. "Look, the quiet type. Sorry, but you're coming with us." The words seemed to be spoken by a female, one of the warlocks in the squad clad in black, tattered robes, a bond bearing the Iron Banner insignia on her right forearm. "I'm afraid not, I have a meeting with the King in an hour. Let's make this quick, shall we?" Sierra snuck I'm a laugh after her sentence, the laugh remaining unnoticed due to her helmet. The Guardians aimed their weapons at her and fired every last bullet, but as soon as they fired; the target was out of sight and the bullets were sent speeding into the air. "I'm one to prefer toying with my prey, it's much more satisfying." The warlock that spoke was immediately impaled by a large Hive sword which thrusted itself out of the ground, the blade making a perfect vertical cut in the warlocks body, barely avoiding being cleaved in half completely but still immobilizing her and piercing her heart and windpipe, blood pouring out of every opening in the warlocks body. "...And there goes the first 'specimen', fools." Sierra reappeared behind two of the squad's Titans, drawing a second knife from her armor and stabbing the Titans in the back, the Titans seemed only slightly dazed due to their armor, however. The knives then dug into the Titans' armor and became irremovable, still ineffective. The two Hunters both threw their throwing knives, all three being shot down by a quickly drawn Thorn and the Hunters being fired upon by the Handcannon, 1 bullet piercing their hearts and injecting poison into their bloodstream. The Hunters fell to the ground, writhing in pain violently with the occasional convulsion due to the poison. "Overconfidence gets you killed." The remaining Warlock threw a Vortex Grenade in fear, missing by a few feet due to the throw being hasty. Sierra walked over to the Warlock who was still panicking and reaching for their Scout Rifle to retaliate. "Don't expect the brutes to help you." Two more Hive swords shot out of the Titans' chest, one each, the seeds covered in a thick, crimson liquid, bone fragments sprinkling the blades occasionally. The warlock flinched before being raised by the throat with a knife to their right arm. "I'm going to ask you nicely one more time." Sierra ran the knife down the Warlock's arm, blood spilling onto the white snow turning it red, the Thorn shots fired into the Hunters' chest detonating and sending shards of venom coated metal into the Hunters' eyes, blinding them. "Are you sure I'm the right one?" She flicked the blood off of the knife and stock it into the Warlock's palm, the blade protruding from the back of their hand. The Warlock giving a downright panicked response. "Y-yes." "That's all I need to know." Sierra ripped the knife out of the Warlock's hand, blood spraying onto her armor and into the snow once more. She then spun the knife in her hand before reversing her grip on the knife and thrusting the blade through the Guardian's throat, the Warlock choking on their own blood and suffocating aswell, she sat the warlock down and kicked them in the chest, sending them reeling onto their sides before walking away, laughing like a madman.
The story of Cyber-219
"So, Little Light," Cyber-219 asked his Ghost,"are we close?" "How many times do I have to say it, don't call me that. Also, yes, we're close," Little Light said. Cyber-219 and Little Light, exploring Old Florida, investigating a reported hidden threat. The transmission was coming from an old ride in a theme park. The Tower of Terror, an molded over sign said. After all, all of Old Florida was a disgusting marsh, after all. This tower was sunken into the ground. Lopsided like a tower he read about, pre Golden Age. It's called.. the Tower of Pizza? That never sounded right to Cyber-219, though. "Well, how do we get in?" Cyber-219 had asked," Ghost? Can you scan this seemingly less dreadful tower than described?" "Sure!", Little Light said," Glad to help!" Ghost was very glad not just to help, but thankful he wasn't referred to as Little Light. They made their way to some collapsed stairs, making their way in. It sorta looked like a morgue. The stairs sank into the ground after them. "Well, great," Cyber said being terribly sarcastic," Probably a back entrance." "Probably?" His Ghost said," You're relying on 'probably!'" Little Light was so scared, he was angry. "We'll be fine," Cyber reassured," just don't sweat it. Oh wait, you can't sweat." Cyber chucked at his own stupidity. The lights turned on. Fallen climbed up an elevator, probably used for the ride. They wear the colors of House Winter. "House of Winter?" Ghost was baffled," What are they doing here?" Every last on of the Fallen suddenly fell of, giving their name a new meaning. Invisible outlines fluttered in and out of sight. "Great," Ghost said," Fallen killing Fallen. Ok, dozens of Guardians fell to their death because of Oryx, now we have Fallen with no respect for the other Houses!" The forms became solid, showing the colors of an (to them) Fallen house, with Gray and White. "Just so you know," Ghost informed," signal's higher." With a click in his gears, Cyber-219 used what pre Golden Age people referred to as 'Aimbot' and shot each Vandal's head off, ether pouring out of them. Cyber stole some spare docking caps from a Captain he had apparently killed, because New Monarchy wanted them for research. Cyber was a proud sponsor, after all. Ghost had found some gas, most likely helium, in a canister. Cyber propelled himself into the air, because of the Golden Age Aluminum Explosion, Cyber was Aluminum, making him extremely light weigh. He shot half way top the top. "Frontier Medicine!" Cyber shouted.
This is part 1 to a series of stories relating to a story earlier about the House Stone. So, as you may have guessed, closed. :/
Ax sat by the fire, studying his new sword. He read the inscription as he flipped it. "Born in darkness, raised in light." What does that even mean? As he pondered this he dozed off, and encountered a flashback of his previous life... "I'm scared," the boy said. He had every right to be with 3 pounds of C-4 on his back. "You'll be ok. Everything's gonna be ok." I had to reassure him. What else could I do? Tell him he's gonna die? He started to cry. He cried for his life, his friends, someone to hold as I bent down to examine the device. One blue wire extended from a battery to a trigger on his chest. I took out my pliers. "Ok bud. I'm gonna need you to be with me on this okay? I'm gonna count to three. Ready?" The kid nodded. "One, two..." I closed my eyes. One wrong move, one errant twitch, and we both were gone. I took a deep breath and... "GAAAH!" Ax's dog, Dew, was sitting in front of him with a cautious look on his muzzle. He perked up. Footsteps? But who would be out on such a night? The lone Huntress weaved her way through a long dead forest, keeping careful watch of the being that had been tailing her for miles. She stopped and threw a smoke bomb to the ground, vanishing from sight in an instant. She looked down from the tree she had so swiftly grappled on to. She heard the foot steps, and as they drew closer, she removed a knife. The foot steps were directly under her, but they had stopped, and an air of confusion seeped from the being below. In an instant, the Huntress had landed on the ground, and held a knife to the beings throat. ' What do you want, stranger? ' She hissed, adjusting her grip on the blade. You thought of what to say, a silence filling the dead forest.

How long has it been? A week? Fortnight? A month even? David has dissapeared some time ago from a seemingly never ending battle against fallen forces in a historically brutal snowstorm in Old Russia. He was alongside 2 titans, his partner and legend Adara, and another by name of Siris. Adara returned, yet Siris is MIA, much like David. The vanguard has sent multiple search parties to look for in the cold land, only to yield nothing but dead scouts and scarred survivors. David was last seen boasting Taniks the Scarred's cloak fighting a half-dead archon as dozens of desperate dregs, vandals, and captains rushed to seize David and the cloak. Had David gone mad? Most certainly, but nothing compared to the madness of his partners frantically searching for him. On one fateful midnight, Xel comes across a distress beacon much like David's. He tells Adara and they both go to the same place where David disappeared. On the following morning, there is a bounty on Xander's board asking for the following: Need 1 brave Guardian to assist in rescue mission/strike to recover valuable asset. Survival chance: low If interested in the challenge, head to the coordinates your ghost receives from Xander. (Open)

Fighting his way through the crashed Cabal ship Dantalion Exodus, Arcturus, an exo, was sent on a mission by Zavala to either destroy or capture an important Taken artifact that the Cabal just so happened to stumble upon. As he finally got to where the beacon that was set for him was located he reached a locked door with no obvious signs of getting through. "Ghost, can you get this open?" "I'll try, just make sure the Cabal don't come up from behind and get me. You'd be dead without me. Literally." "Heh, okay just get to work." As Ghost started to hack away at the door an alarm sounded. "Well that's not good," they both said in unison. A squadron of Cabal and Psions come out of previously closed doors and quickly surround Arcturus and his Ghost. "What are you gonna do? Shoot me?" A Cabal Legionary fires a warning shot from his Slug Rifle. "Well now what?" his Ghost says. (Open)

Gr1mm3st was in his quarters reading up on the latest microtech light bonding phenomena written by Toland himself.. Inside the text Grim came across a passage that stuck in his head. It read " and to those who peer into the pitch black deep enough, they're eyes begin to sink inward deep and deeper until that darkness turns into a light of unparalleled brilliance, blinding its viewer and bending his will, ultimately consuming him and leading him to believe that he must do anything and everything in order to make sure that the light never fades... And so he does just that... If only I, Toland could grasp that soul and drag it back through the dark and into reality... But everywhere I look, I see only he... With so many of them and so few of me, who is to say this is not how it was meant to be... Am I lost or is he? Only he who survives the other can make that determination I suppose..." Grim sets down his book, he walks out to speak with his mentor Ikora about her thoughts on the subject...
Halloween Special
"House Devils," Variks said to himself,"they have found what they are looking for." "Hmm?" Petra heard, asking rather loudly," Did I hear something about the Fallen? 'Cause I'm bored and really want to hunt some Fallen with the Guardians." "This weapon is very dangerous, but is very weak," Variks informed," so we can nock it out, yes?" Meanwhile, on the Forgotten Shore. "I've found it, Captain," said the Vandal," we can bring back the dead now." "Good," the Captain said with an evil grin," put it in." The Vandal put the final piece into the machine of pre Golden Age. Music started playing, an older song.Thriller. All the fallen Fallen started to rise from the ground. Jokes on the living, they were being attacked by the dead. "Take out the part!" Demanded the frightened Captain," TAKE IT OUT!!!" The Vandal pushed the button, just as he was being attacked, breaking the disk. A Guardian watched a Dreg watch the whole thing. The Dreg turned around slowly, scaring the Guardian. His eyes were yellow, like a cats. An evil laugh comes out of nowhere.
Hope you enjoyed it! Also, open, but I won't, or probably not, read it. :/
Edited by Spyglass: 10/14/2015 3:25:26 AMGinger stood in the hangar, presenting the mission objective for the gathered Guardians. Though clad in a particularly regal set of armor, he seemed surprisingly uncomfortable as he spoke, constantly shuffling and tugging at joints. His helmet was placed precariously on an intersection post in the railing. "Alright, so some Warlocks and I have been theorizing about the Hive aboard the Dreadnought, which is actually its own dimension, in that it has its own fundamental laws. You see, Oryx and his followers are so powerful that they can change the fundamental laws of reality inside their dimension; they call it sword logic. It defines the strength granted through existence and killing. Anyways, the first rule is that if you exist, you are powerful. That makes all of us strong... Which is good. The next steps have only been hypothesized, and we are to test them out by killing some of his lieutenants. If we kill them, it might make us strong enough to face Oryx in his own dimension... And it'll make patrolling the Dreadnought a helluva lot easier. Any questions?" He stares at the blank faces in front of him, and mutters something under his breath about them being a tough crowd. "Perhaps we should start with introductions. I'm Ginger, I was revived thirteen years ago, and I am a freelance Titan working in conjunction with the Vanguard. You've probably seen me... At the bar most likely. Or on Mars. Yeah..." He shuffles a little, palpably uncomfortable "Anyone else?" (Open)

Staring at the bottom of a glass, his fifteenth, Aries couldn't even be bothered to care about the last few months. So much had happened. So much had gone wrong. And yet, here he was, drinking away what he assumed to be sorrow. To be honest he couldn't tell anymore. And it's not because of the alcohol. These days, he hardly felt anything. No anger, no guilt, and no sadness. All that is left is an empty feeling. A large one. Aries could only assume it's because of just how close he came to finding peace, and seeing as it got ripped away from him. After that, he just stopped caring. He was a drifter now, stumbling from bar to bar, hidden under a large cloak, for no good reason that he could think of. He remembered how the guardians foiled his conquest of the earth. By going back in time. He had to give credit to James. He was always a tough bastard. He also remembered the anger he felt, when he witnessed the city appear out of thin air, right back where it usually stood. He remembered how the Hive under his control began being rebellious. He wouldn't stand for that. He put down the rebellious Hive. Even destroyed his entire fleet. Out of anger. The survivors ran and spread out among the solar system. He didn't bother tracking them down. All of this went through his mind in an instant, and would've continued that way, until another person under a cloak sat right next to him. Nothing strange about that. Except for his hand. It was Vex. And then he spoke, and Aries grew startled, something he didn't know he could be anymore. " Took me a while to track you down, old friend." (( Closed. This is Part 1 of my little story here ))

Lakir scavenged through a Fallen loot cache, looking for glimmer or ether sups. It's been a while since he's even seen James or Lake. He heard that Lake had secluded himself from the city, and is now hiding out in the Himalayas. Lakir didn't bother tracking him down. The events of the City crisis left Lake mentally scarred, and that left a toll on him. James had just disappeared entirely. Off the grid, no leads. Nothing. Looking up, he walked over to a window. The city used to be called Detroit. And it was raining, hard. He jolted into action as he heard footsteps behind him, pulling up four pistols, but he stopped as it was someone he hadn't seen in a long time. (( Open ))

The moon. It was lost so long ago. It was once a place of the light.... now it is a place of darkness a place of fear, a place of hate, a place of.... Hunger. But we are working to bring the light back to the moon...tirelessly. We thought we had it cleared. That it was safe. We were wrong... Garuud wakes up with a start. His receptors barely able to pierce the darkness. All around him skitters could be heard and the occasional screech. "Definitely not in Kansas anymore" Garuud says trying to lighten the situation and remember what happened. Garuud found it hard to move, almost like that his limbs were slow to respond. That they were too heavy. He reaches out slowly to grab a wall to balance himself to stand. He touches the wall but immediately after "The wall" Screeches and claws him and then runs off. "Well, that was rude! Cant help a guy out" Garuud said as he reached behind him to grab his Fabian strategy. "I need to find a way out of here, but where is here exactly" He finally pushes himself up and begins to move around as fast as his limbs will allow. "How did I get here?" Garuud tried to remember. All he remembered was a voice.. It said " Your light is a blight upon this galaxy. I will rip it from you! You will be nothing but a mewling child. You and everyone you love will die!" Garuud for once since awakening as a Exo could not find something funny about that. " I need to get out of here, and kill whatever that was." Garuud said as he moved into a slightly more open area that was only slighter more visible. That was when he heard foot steps "Hello? Hey whats behind door number 1? Friend or enemy?"
open! But no one knows where we are and we cannot escape just yet.
Edited by Holy FirePriest: 10/15/2015 4:04:11 PMA male titan painted in the Queens colors sat crouched in the Queens throne room looking off into the reefs space of all the broken and lifeless ships. His mark gently moving from an unknown breeze while his red death stood next to him as he held it up his hand gently around the bloody knife at the end. His ghost gently Hovered next to him seeing what His titan was seeing. The titan Wondered now the queen was gone what is his purpose now? Will someone be by for his help or want someone to travel with or will his life be ended by the endless void of jumping into the reef? That's what he questioned and his ghost did the same. Hoping there was a silver lining. But only time will tell. ( closed )
