How long do humans and awoken live ?
I remember either from the intro or a grimoire card that human life span tripled. If so that would mean that humans could live to be 300 years old in the destiny universe normally. But what about guardians ? We are dead and keep dying and coming back, would that affect our lifespan ? And what about awoken, they were changed from humans to a completely separate species all together. Does that mean there live spans are changed too ?

Well human life span tripled but that was the golden age, when being destroyed we could have been reverted to the normal 80

The guardians are technically not living. The "light" brought them back so they are immortal unless there light is taken. I think the average awoken can probably live around 300-500 years but that is just a guess.

1 ReplyThe Awoken likely live the same length as humans; they're closely-related to humans and have the same level of technological prowess. As for Guardians, they may not age or die unless their Ghost is destroyed.

1 ReplyI had the same questions. Can Guardians have children and if yes can those children inherit the light. If Guardian loses his light does he die? Do Awoken possess any special powers? Looking at the new enemies "The Taken." I believe that the first Awoken were humans that we're taken by the darkness and later saved by the Traveler.
