Need help on Exotic weapon (thorn) bounty

Hey I'm lvl 27 hunter and all I have left to do is the lvl 26 Summoning Pits strike but you don't have to kill Phogoth just another boss that spawns I really am having trouble finding people so hopefully you can help! 360 and GT is that same

    What you have to do is damage phogoth but not kill him...keep killing all his minnons though. And its either the 3rd or 4th wave that xyur will drop down. Its a pain, but definitely worth it.
