Possible meet up area?
I'm not very familiar with how to interact well socially within Destiny. I mean it's not like WoW where you can chat with someone in game easily or LFG. What if members that were looking for something group related to do stood in a certain place in the city? Somewhere people normally don't hang out like up the stairs above the entrance to the speaker area or something. This might allow us to quickly find each other and join up quickly and painlessly for some action.
Could this work?

Destiny released earlier today that match made players can now chat. Sort of like in gta v where you could set your chat to everyone or just your team and friends. Beta comes out next week. Enjoy!

Destiny doesn't have a much of a social aspect. Rely on the website or app. Wod was released though recently as in today or yesterday a large lag feast standing I front of the gate.

1 ReplyDifficulty I can see is, like you said, it's not WoW or other MMO's where there's a chat to communicate with nearby players in. If it was, yeah, having a clan meeting spot is a usual thing to do. But in this case, I don't peronally see a benefit to it as you can find and add clan members quite easily through the menu button without having to be near. Just my thoughts though. Do you have a mic? That'll help communicate within fireteams.
