[PS4] My first time ever VoG, looking for guidance.
I'm a lvl 28 Warlock, have been playing Destiny for only a week now. Since it's weekend finally, I'd figured I wanted to start learning VoG. I don't talk much over the mic, but I listen really good and follow any directions given.

The easiest run I ever had involved two Obsidian Mind warlocks, a GG hunter, and me, a bubble buddy. I spawned orbs with Heamy ammo kills, #GjallyandRuinWingCombo, and the other three worked in Unison to destroy everything. Bubble buddy = Defender Titan. [spoiler]Im on ps3, and the Obsidian Mind makes it so kills with a Nova bomb replenish a portion of your next Bomb[/spoiler]

Shoot stuff. Shoot the praetorians, shoot the enemies, shoot the oracles, [b]dont[/b] shoot templar until shields are down. [b]never [/b]shoot a gorgon unless it detects you. Shoot the enemies and the gatekeeper, then have people go into each portal and do the same. Shoot enemies trying to sacrifice, then shoot atheon. If you get teleported, shoot oracles

Your first stop might be a quick go at the weekly heroic for some strange coins. Xur is in the tower selling an exotic helmet for you right now! That helmet would get you almost to level 30 which would make raiding immediately more fun.

I can just give you tips. One. Have a sniper or shotgun. Void. Heavy weapon void. Or ghorn. Run self res if its unlocked. 10 bosses in total (including gorgons). Templar is the first there is 3 stages in the right. Conflux,oracles and templar. Then there is 3 chests available in the next section. Gorgons next nothing special unless they see you. Then your entire team is dead. You will figure the rest out by yourself.

Good luck guardian! VoG is awesome and the loot is fantastic: the gear is unique and looks cool, the weapons have an awesome design and are some of the best in the game. It can be difficult in the beginning, but it appears that you'll have some experienced teammates on your side! Listen to your team, watch out for fanatics, snipe hobgoblins, don't double jump/ glide/ lift near the Gorgons, use a snipe shotgun or fusion rifle for oracles. And most importantly: NEVER SHOOT ROCKETS INSIDE A BUBBLE OR SUPPRESION FIELD!!

2 RepliesWhen it comes to oracles. One person on each side take oracles, one person on trash mobs and one person on Hobgoblins. Secondly have a look on YouTube for the Gorgons Maze path, it will save time. Hunters going invisible and jumping will make it harder for the rest of the group. Finally. The jumping puzzle is easy, have a look on YouTube for a correct path. Your team mates will only confuse the matter. Had it not been UK time, I would have helped.
