Going to try this tomorrow. Sword class shouldn't matter, the jump is easy. Note that you can hit Crota's before/as he's taking a knee.

TLDR: Results: Attack set (5) (Uppercut Combo x2) which is Slash x2 and then a Smash (Uppercut), repeat, seems to be the way to go. If you can get an additional Smash (Down) afterwards, do it which is attack set (2). This attack set should be the most consistent damage on Crota because you should be able to land the combo twice. If you can land it twice and land a Right Trigger afterwards [attack set (2)], do so. Landing the occasional right trigger afterwards should help mitigate any missed opportunities later on.
