PS3 raid help!!

Hey guys and gals! I'm new here so I'd like to start and say thanks for having me! But to the point: I've had destiny for my ps3 since the first week of release and have yet to do either VoG or Crota and would like to quickly change this. I'm a level 29 Hunter and try my best in all situations although I die a bit more often than I should.
