Hard Raiding Viability AND Scheduling

Since we've got a few people who are 30, at least Mysterious and Zeeth, are we going to be able to start raiding on hard mode on a regular basis? Both of my toons are 29 now and I have my raid weapon load outs almost maxed (Need Hezen's Vengeance to be 300 and we'll be good), so it won't be as much as a struggle for me. However, given everyone's different time zones and responsibilities to themselves or their employers, I would just like to make a post and ask what everyone's schedule preferences. Personally, as a M-F worker (9-5) and a guy who only gets to see his GF on the weekends, I would prefer daily stuff and doing checkpoints if necessary and getting it done that way. In addition, my roommate does have preference to use the TV in the living room where I play on Tuesday/Thursday. So MWF are my best bets to raid with the group outside of a PUG.

  • Also, it might be pretty easy to get a tertiary group together for say, Friday Nights. Because I know Trungle, Link, and Mysterious have a hard time getting in on the weekends. So we can try a week night raid at some point to see how it goes.

    • Our current community raid schedule is Saturday/Sunday, 7 CST. If you're not able to make that schedule people can always pick up an raid whenever they would like. Moving forward, I'll be trying to host a raid Saturday Nights that's focused on the regular mode lactose intolerant run (no cheesing oracles and Templar). I'd like to get a solid foundation for teamwork/communication, game mechanics, and overall discipline. Depending on how that run goes, I'll be using it as a "let's attempt flawless raider" event. With Saturday being used for the above, I feel like Sunday will become the hard mode raid night. In order for us to run Hard Mode as a community, we will require at least 3 level 30's, and a minimum requirement of level 29 to join. We're simply not ready to be flexible with that due to this past Saturdays Hard Mode attempt. Once again, if that doesn't work for you as an individual, let me know. I have to run the Hard Mode at least 3 times a week, so I know that I personally could run with someone should their scheduling be conflicted.

    • I feel like Friday is our best bet, simply to count on havering enough people on at one time. If we get some communication going, we can easily get organized weekly hm runs.
