The fires of war burned upon the waters of the Flooded Void.
The Ninjas had come down from the mountain, and scores of them attacked the world at once.
It was this day that would live forever in infamy, the day when farcical tales of porches spanned the void.
May were killed that day, many more detained by The Overlord.
Elegiac knew this day.
"You can only observe; they cannot see or here you.
Karl told him.
"Why am I here?"
Elegiac demanded.
"To learn."
Elegiac was disgusted.
"Everyone knows of this day."
"Just watch."

"I suppose that not all things that die, must remain dead."
The Solonoid turned to face the Wizard.
"I am very much dead."
Zizou circled him.
"Where is the King?"
"Predisposed"
If the Archmage found out where Karl had taken him, it could be the undoing of his quest.
Zizou drew his sword in fury, and positioned it at the neck of the ancient warrior.
"Tell me."
The Solonoid smiled.
"Go on, run me through."
Zizou complied, and the body of the undead visitor unravelled into black smoke, filling the air until it gathered and reconstituted as an unscathed Solonoid. He turned and slashed The Solonoid in half, this time he flared a white light, forcing out the shadowy smoke.
There was a knock at the door.
Zizou waited a moment to see if the smoke would return, and only when he was satisfied that it was gone, he answered the door. He was met by an ion blast from the sword of the undead warrior, and was flung backwards onto the bed. Zizou sat up and fired from his hand an energy bolt, and once more flared the white light, dispersing the smoke left behind from The Solonoid.
There was a knock at the door.
Refusing to be taken by surprise a second time, Zizou ran his sword through the door.
He opened it to flare the light and banish the smoke from the area, but he was not met by smoke, but by a wounded Derpy, Keeper of the Whales. The door shut behind the Archmage, and try as he might. he could not reopen it; it had been charmed.

The Day of the Porch continued with no mercy.
"What am I supposed to be learning here?", asked Elegiac, confused by what he saw.
"These men were slaughtered, exiled, or imprisoned with no reason, essentially for the amusement of The Overlord. I was not here to see it, but I heard it was terrifying. I suppose observing from the outside I can't really capture it's essence. Look at them, look at them die. Watch their execution. Refuting a ban on this day was a futile effort; an impossible task."
Hearing these words, Elegiac grew furious.
"You dare compare me to The Overlord and his cronies? I am a fair and kind ruler, I provide for my people, and I have never done such a thing as this."
"Does not The Overlord provide? IS he not fair? Perhaps not kind, but there was once such a time."
Elegiac was outraged at this blasphemy.
"You shan't plague me any longer!"
He dropped an energy bomb capable of destroying the planet Forshaan onto the spectre, and when the lights cleared, he was in his own bedroom again.
The Solonoid was not there. He opened the door to find his Archmage tending to the wounds of the Whale Keeper. He stepped over the scene to speak to his advisor, an old sailor from the Flaymarsee Navy, commonly referred to as the Seadog.
As he took this step, he fell into darkness, and wicked breath of another world loomed behind him.
