Lurulu? It is a special word, from the language of myths and legends, and is as much of a mystery now as when I first yearned for something lost and unknown. But one day I shall glance over my shoulder and there it will be, wondering why I had not come sooner.

Coming up games and News.

Xbox 360 Section: Within the next week or so not many Xbox 360 games are coming out, NBA 2K14(October 1st) being one of them. If you're a rabid Sports fan you would probably enjoy it, but as for what new content it's bringing to the table, not much I can say on that myself. FIFA 14 just came out today though and I'm sure many people will be interested in picking that up. A "Pro Evolution" Soccer game has also came out, but will it be able to compare to FIFA 14? PS3 Section: The PS3 seems to be a little more promising on the games front with several more games coming out in the next two weeks till October, Beyond: Two Souls, F1 2013, Just Dance 2014, and Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness. Descriptions for each in chronological order will follow:
From the visionary mind of David Cage, director of the award-winning Heavy Rain™ game, comes the most powerfully emotional experience on the PlayStation®3 system. A singularly unique psychological action thriller delivered by A-list Hollywood performances, Beyond: Two Souls™ takes you on a thrilling journey across the globe as you play out the remarkable life of Jodie Holmes. Born with a connection to a mysterious entity with incredible powers, Jodie was different. In an adventure spanning 15 years of her life, your actions will determine Jodie's fate as she faces extraordinary challenges, danger, and heartwrenching loss on a journey to discover the truth of who she is. Beyond: Two Souls promises an emotionally-charged journey unlike any video game before. Dive into a gripping and unpredictable psychological action thriller starring Academy Award-nominees Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe.
Beyond Two Souls definitely seems to have some potential, I have no doubt it should be an interesting game when we get it on the 8th of October. F1 and Just Dance are of course Racing and Dancing games respectively, not too much to elaborate on those, feel free to take a better interest into them if you feel spurred on to look into them. As for Disgaea(October 8th), the celebrated SRPG will be celebrating it's tenth anniversary with A Brighter Day, here is the official site for more info: http://disgaea.us/dis_d2/story/about.html Wii U Section: Not much for the Wii U right now, Scribblenauts is also coming out for it like on the 3DS tomorrow, and The Wind Waker HD will be coming to us on the 4th of October. 3DS Section: The 3DS of course has an interesting line-up, two of the games being personal favorites that I am very excited for, but I'm unsure of if I will be spending my E-Shop credits on a Digital copy of Etrian Odyssey Untold(October 1st), or Pokemon X/Y(October 12th)...*strokes his chin* Back to the info though, tomorrow we will be getting Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure!
Give your drawings super powers in this adventure that combines Scribblenauts creative play with DC Comics heroes! Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure lets you summon your favorite heroes and bring powerful DC Universe objects into your drawings, giving you awesome new ways to solve Scribblenauts puzzles. Battle villains using your magic notebook on a mission that takes you through Gotham City, Metropolis, Atlantis, and other iconic locations. If you're in a jam, access the Bat Computer to see descriptions of the objects you have available. The game's dynamic puzzle creation system continuously regenerates scenarios, challenging you to create new solutions each time you visit.
Scribblenauts certainly has some promise, not sure if I'll be giving it a try myself though, but I have no doubts it should be fun for those that give it a try. An interesting newcomer it seems, at least with a previous title I am not aware of, is Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi.
The original story from Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom is brought to the 3DS with six new storylines and a new photobooth mode! Chizuru has come to Kyoto to search for her father, but the city is ripe with danger. The mystery deepens when she discovers that the Shinsengumi - a group created to protect the powerless - also seeks her father. Experience a living novel filled with stunning character illustrations and a twisting plot. The photo fun starts with a photo/movie gallery you'll unlock as you play, and continues with a photo booth feature inspired by Japanese sticker photo booths. You and your friends can pose for pics with favorite Hakuoki characters in front of a variety of different backgrounds.
I can't comment on how the game will turn out, it's rated M and it's elusions to Samurai and Bleach is all I can pick up one, but feel free to learn more if you want. Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl is the last 3DS title on our list.
The game is a unique entry to the series in that it contains two modes, Classic and Story, classic mode is the same as other entries, while story mode is completely new to the series and is similar to traditional RPGs, with an expansive story, preset characters, cutscenes and voice acting, the game also contains three difficulty settings.
As for background info to the series as a whole...
Drawing comparisons to titles such as Wizardry and The Bard's Tale,[1] Etrian Odyssey challenges players with exploring and mapping a vast dungeon. Players navigate through the dungeon in fixed increments. Time passes only when an action is taken, causing movement, random encounters, and combat to all be entirely turn-based. The game uses a first-person view to present the dungeon using a combination of relatively simple 3D computer graphics for environments and single-frame 2D sprites for enemies. Etrian Odyssey requires that players maintain their own map by annotating (with the stylus) a small map displayed on the DS's touchscreen. The player is free to map accurately or haphazardly. However, the player cannot draw their own symbols, and must instead use the game's limited set of pre-designed symbols. The game also limits the number of symbols that can be used for each level map. In addition to normal random encounters, the player must overcome "FOEs", which are exceptionally powerful monsters which wander around the dungeon in much the same way as the player's party. The AI of FOEs varies, but most will wander the dungeon in a set circular path until they sense the player's party, after which they will move directly towards the party. If the player encounters an FOE in an area with multiple FOEs, it is possible for a second or even third FOE to join the battle if it reaches the party before they defeat the first one. Like most early RPGs, Etrian Odyssey uses custom characters from a number of different character classes. While only five characters can be in the party at a single time, a much larger number can be created and kept in waiting back at the "guild hall". Characters can be switched in and out of the party when in town, so if a given specialty is needed for a specific obstacle, the party can be tailored appropriately. The player allocates skill points to specific skills during level advancement.
That will be it for the 3DS games for the time being, and lastly is the PC genre. PC: Tomorrow, for Company of Heroes 2: Theater of War 2, Case Blue DLC will be coming out. Shadow Warrior will be coming out on the 26th, and Rise of Venice on the 27th. Please forgive me on the PC Department, never really looked into titles in that section much for the most part, but feel free to look into each of those for more info as I'm sure some will be curious about them. And this concludes this weeks info on Games, as for the news, that will be given in the form of a link to somewhere you will be able to find what specifically corresponds to you. It's hard to organize news info tailored to people by yourself, it's usually up to personal preferences, sorry... http://www.ign.com/ That concludes this weeks info, please leave your comments and feedback in the section below to make these weekly updates more inquisitive. And thank you!
