Code of Ethics for Male Gamers
Yeah we all knew that this was coming. If Destiny is what we think it is then the City is going to be a great place for friend to meet and to show off your armor. It's also going to be a place where creepers roam. We have all be in a match where a girl with a mic come into the game and there are one or two guys that start creeping on her. NO ONE wants to see this in Destiny. So you creepers out there here is a short list of dos and donts.

Creep on female players
Send female players your personal info if they don't ask for it
follow female players around if they don't know who you are
spam message female players
make stupid sex jokes
hit on them to the point that it's creepy

Be respectful of them
treat them like you would treat any other player
be friendly to them

To summarize, use the head between your shoulders and not the one between your legs Players of any gender should be courteous towards their fellow players. But, since there are going to be some rotten apples out there use the mute button, ignore the vile they spew and move on to greener lobbies/servers.

Will just laugh at this and then troll on any gamer they can prey upon. The only thing your post does is bring awareness to things that everyone is very well aware of. Most of the time the same people creeping on women are the same people out making everyone's lives miserable on any game. Your just pointing out one thing out of the larger problem.

When you try to treat people differently because of their race, gender, etc; it isn't fair nor equal for anyone. In a way, I find this to be very sexist and discriminatory against both male and female gamers on biased stereotypes and a need for males to "defend a damsel in distress". Treat everyone fairly and with respect.

3 RepliesThis isn't anything specific to males, nor should anyone have a separate code of ethics when gaming. Treat people the same as you would IRL. Don't think of them as nameless AI in your game, think of them like someone at a LAN party, or playing split screen with you, and act the same as if you were looking right at them. Basically, treat them how you would treat anyone else, don't use anonymity as an excuse to be a douche.
