Recommendations for Headset(have PS3)
I have been told we will be shopping for Father's Day gift this weekend.
Any suggestions for a good headset?

Thanks everyone for your comments. PS4 would be big step/change. Like changing racehorses in middle of race. Later. I got a PS Gold. It is great but make sure you do not put it on backwards! thanks Indy. It has a 2nd customizable profile and PS Store has a downloadable "Destiny" profile(plus others) you can use.

3 RepliesThe Playstation Gold one is pretty great. I got it for 79 refurb from EB games. Comfortable, easy to use, great battery. http://www.ebgames.ca/PS4/Games/714369 Don't bother with the single ear bluetooth ones. I did, waste of money.

There also one of the cheaper ones out there at under 100$

Thanks everyone. Got your recommendations in my pocket. Yes Indiana, I am presently using a one ear bluetooth device and agree. I purchased a Sony headset(~ $100) earlier but returned it. Short battery life, would only charge from PS3 USB(weird) and other issues. I am torn on open ear; my game might be a little better blocking out distractions. Will follow up after purchase.

Sennheiser. Audiophile quality and all day comfort. Not cheap but I have zero regrets I think they are about 180 on Amazon I prefer open ear since they are more comfortable and I like hearing what's going on around me too. I would rate them five star

Depends on your budget. The best reasonably priced ones are probably the Playstation Gold ones. If you're looking for something over that price point though, I've no clue.
