Preferred Weapons for Crucible

Hello clan mates! As we all know, the Crucible is full of ups and downs when it comes to weapons. I have tested (and been tested on) weapons that are fit for pvp, as well as weapons that are not. Here, you will be able to see what me and fellow clan mates feel about some guns that you might wanna run, and others that you wanna avoid. Universal Remote (Primary weapon) - So I've asked about this weapon, and have found that it is still a regular shotgun. If you love shotguns it is definitely for you, but it is more of a recoil toy. The range is lower than standard shotgun, but it gives you the ability to use a close, and far range combat. Thorn (Primary weapon) - So there has been a lot of commotion about this weapon and i will say this. It's power is underestimated. The reason why this weapon is dangerous is because of lingering damage. Lingering damage stops them from regaining shield. If shot correctly then you can keep there shield down for a long 12 seconds. It might not do well in strikes or raids, but it shines in Crucible. Suros Regime (Primary weapon) - By far this is the best all round weapon to use. The regime is great, for most to any situation you might be in. With the additional damage and range the Regime gives, it always make you a threat. If you like auto rifles, you'll never leave this. Truth (Heavy weapon) - This is a great one to run as well. A heat seeking rocket, that explodes early, and it also has a ridiculous range. This is perfect for control plays. It can also be used in raids, since it does void damage. Just be aware the range is large, so it will do damage to you if used to close. Red Death (Primary weapon) - I find this weapon to be very versatile. Its a pulse rifle that heals you every time you kill them with it. Note: IF YOU ARE SHOT WHILE HEALING, THE PERK IS VOIDED. This means that you should use this with cover around you for the usefulness of the perk. It works really well with Titans Striker class, since they can use Transfusion. Ice Breaker (Special weapon) - Snipers are hard to use, but there high rewards are to great to pass. With the Ice Breaker, it gives you the range and skill of snipers, with the power of AOE abilities. Its another well rounded gun, and can be used in a lot of situations. It also recharges its ammo, so you never have to worry about reloading. Note: IF YOU DIE, YOU HAVE TO RECHARGE ALL THE AMMO AGAIN. Deaths are not your friend with this weapon. Invective (Special weapon) - ANY SHOTGUN WITH AUTO FIRE IS GOOD, BUT THIS ONE IS TOO MUCH! Invective not only is one of the fastest shotguns, but has a range that is too terrifying. CQC is child's play when this gun is on. If you like to run up on everyone and let them know that they have no chance, welcome this weapon. There are other weapons that are great with Crucible as well that i have not yet explained and i will get too. This is just a quick post on what you might want to use. Thank you for reading and i hope to join you all in the Crucible soon. Shards of The Void

 • Shadow Price is a very viable option in PvP for being a Legendary, it has good range and is quite stable and is just solid all around. Other than that in terms of auto rifles I'm finding the Hard Light to be pretty effective when used with a skilled hand. Only draw back so far being that it seems you have to lock yourself into its sweet spot witch is smack dab between CQC and mid ranges. The Volatile Light perk can come in handy at times when flanking unsuspecting foes up against a wall, I am still curious to find out if the bullets would ricochet off the inside of a Titan bubble..

 • I have found the Monte Carlo (upgraded to its perk) to be an effective CQC auto rifle for those who like using their melee a lot.

 • The Truth is good. I don't have it. I just know it's kicks ass.

 • Personally I would not choose thorn for PvP. The dot is too low, I'd much rather just shoot another round to the head. With how fast paced PvP is, unless you just want a bunch of assists and you're running with clan mates, then thorn will be helpful. Otherwise I would much prefer the hawkmoon for its ammo capacity and the random buffed rounds. Another good handcannon to use is the devil you know, due to its high ammo capacity.
