    This is the place to explore and play Generation Vice, or GenV for short, a text-based biocyberpunk roleplaying game set in a gritty post-World War III future. You play as a citizen of the state-capitalist society of Trinity City, an urban nexus of bleeding-edge technology and corporate chaos enclosed behind titanic walls from the decaying world beyond. In T.C., money means more to the economics of everyday life than ever before in human history, and anyone with a thirst for survival will do anything to get their hands on it- even if it means murder, and the particularly power-hungry will go to more drastic lengths than that to bend the grizzly world they live in to their will. [b][u]NOTES OF IMPORTANCE:[/u][/b] [i]*Chimeras have three slots for genodes (biomechanical genetic depositors loaded into gencore [biomechanical computer which serves as an outlet for genetic splicing; fused into chimera’s chest]) in a default gencore. However, a default gencore can be upgraded to four genode slots via a rigger for the standard price of €10,000. *Chimeras gain different genetic attributes based on how many genodes are loaded with the same DNA— one genode grants the chimera the physical capabilities of the subject (organism whose DNA is loaded into genode), two genodes of the same DNA grant both the physical capabilities and the bodily features of the subject, and three genodes of the same DNA transform the chimera into the subject entirely (except with his/her original intelligence, conscience, and memories). *The DNA of other humans can be loaded into genodes (typically performed for identity imitation). *[b]The default gencore must be purchased separately from chimera class drives via a rigger for a standard price of €32,000.[/b] *The genetic effects of any genode can be reversed by removing implanted genodes from the gencore via a rigger (removal surgery costing a standard price of €1,000), allowing chimeras to resume their original genetic and physiological form. *Chimeras can only have their gencores and genodes surgically implanted into them (before being “spliced” within a pod of biological fluids for several days) via rigger (standard prices for each genode listed below). *Users of scourged (unkempt/damaged) chimera class drives will experience “physiological confusion,” in which the natural instincts of the user’s genode subject(s) overtake their human conscience (i.e. hunting/foraging for organic prey/foods, defensive territorial behavior, territorial urination, random bladder/bowel relief, etc.); drives are maintained and repaired by riggers (-€500 per maintenance/repair).[/i] — [b][i]GRADE 1 DRIVE [-€100,000]:[/i][/b] [b]GENODE MAXIMUM: 1 (physical capabilities)[/b] + [b][u]RODENT (mice, rats, weasels, rabbits, etc.) [-€1,000]:[/u][/b] ABILITIES [1 Gen.]— Enhanced agility (movement velocity), enhanced senses (smell, hearing), enhanced fear reflex (increased instinct to retreat from threats).
