This is the place to explore and play Generation Vice, or GenV for short, a text-based biocyberpunk roleplaying game set in a gritty post-World War III future. You play as a citizen of the state-capitalist society of Trinity City, an urban nexus of bleeding-edge technology and corporate chaos enclosed behind titanic walls from the decaying world beyond. In T.C., money means more to the economics of everyday life than ever before in human history, and anyone with a thirst for survival will do anything to get their hands on it- even if it means murder, and the particularly power-hungry will go to more drastic lengths than that to bend the grizzly world they live in to their will. So fill up your rig, grab a gun or two, and take a psychotic, cybernetic, blood-soaked journey through a generation of vice.

Generation Vice: Map of Trinity City (Page 3)

PAGE 2: https://www.bungie.net/en/Groups/Post?groupId=3774846&postId=252364348&sort=0&page=0 — OUTZONES - THE SEWERS The labyrinthine sewage system beneath the immediate surfaces of Trinity City’s three sectors. Here, all is dark and dank, and horrors both human and beyond lurk around every turn. Upon entering the place through a sewer grate or a canal entrance, one may find themselves in service passageways dimly lit by faulty ceiling lamps, through which rivers of sewage run between two opposing cement walkways; these shift direction throughout the system by turning, sloping, and branching between one another, eventually opening up into either enormous sewage reservoirs (where the ends of multiple sewage lines fall into a sea of sludge below) or open service chambers (where homeless “sewer folk” reside in small shanty towns). The Sewers are also divided into three “levels” of depth beneath the surface of each sector (the lowest being considered to be the most dangerous), each of which being able to be transported between via service elevators found within various pathways. Various hazards occupy the underworld of waste: if various illnesses and infections don’t pollute your body from the greywater, then the cannibalistic homeless population of the Sewers will hunt you down for their next meal. The thieving crime syndicate known as the Greyhounds don’t take too kindly to strangers of their subterranean turf either, and if one is seen by them and aren’t recognized as an ally, they won’t hesitate to take intruders hostage or kill them. Beyond illness, cannibals, and syndicates, various criminals use the Sewers as an easy refuge from martial law, so not only do they pass through the tunnels, but also the CyberPolice units and/or bouncer militia troops who chase them. Additionally, parasitic monstrosities accidentally brought to Earth from Mars via starship convoys, commonly known as “mimics,” infest the sewage rivers and reservoirs, changing their bodily forms at will (from inanimate objects to other organisms) to fool and attack their unsuspecting prey (humans happen to be at the top of their appetite) and consume their biomass to transfer it into their own; they stay exclusively in the Sewers, however (and luckily), as the sunlight triggers a lethal burning reaction to their bodily tissues. So in short, this place can be considered a piece of Hell— but in the shadows it provides from the light of society, it wouldn’t be too far of a stretch to bet on a variety of illicit loot waiting to be plundered down there, either. THE OUTSKIRTS The gritty gap between the back-ends of Oblako and Krylo and the bottom of the Wall, located along the edges of Sector 3. Here, the titanic barrier of Trinity City and the rear faces of Oblako and Krylo’s towering architecture forever envelop the place in looming shadow. The unkempt cement ground here is covered in almost as much garbage as there is in all of Oblako as well, and sewage canals spawn placid rivers of waste along the bottom of the Wall. Since the place is relatively outside of the public eye, various crime syndicates assemble their goons here to settle scores and make tense trade-offs between one another; this not only spawns frequent skirmishes between the syndicates, but also attracts the attention of prowling CyberPolice troops who patrol the area for arrests to make and heads to take. Next to the Sewers, this place is easily the most dangerous in all of Trinity City. THE WALL The titanic barrier which envelops Trinity City. Here, 5,655 feet of titanium alloy towers into the amber heavens, over 40 miles in length and approximately 2,190 feet in density. Along with the cityscape of Trinity City, the Wall began construction in the year 2062 and finished in 2078 (the rest of Cradle NA-9’s construction was completed later in 2080). Today, it stands as a monument of the collective power of man and machine, as are the rest of the walls constructed across Earth in the Cradle Project. It not only guards Trinity City’s population of over six million from the environmental hazards of the ravaged world outside, but also serves as a hub-like complex for human operatives of the Overwatch to observe the city and discuss legislative, economic, and architectural planning for it; it is unknown to the public where and how exactly Overwatch personnel enter and exit the Wall. Criminal detainment wards and access points to the Underground are also established within the Wall. THE UNDERGROUND The Overwatch’s subterranean necropolis built deep beneath the Sewers of Trinity City. Here, tunnels and chambers made of titanium alloy have been dug out through miles of bedrock, housing not only the clandestine factories of Trinity City’s Overwatch-issue automata, but also a prison system for the criminals of T.C. Prisoners are forced to perform manual labor here on a daily basis by their Overwatch wardens, janitoring machinery in automata assembly lines and mining deeper into the ground for precious minerals and additional space for the Underground to expand. Prisoners are also known to frequently be plagued by pressure sickness and vitamin-D deficiency due to both their depth inside of the Earth and their complete lack of contact with sunlight, but the Overwatch only uses this fact to further intimidate the public into obeying the Code of Law. The Underground is accessed via large elevators which are entered from the surface of Trinity City via the inside of the Wall.
