Is Suros Regime worth spending my Strange Donuts on?
3 weeks ago I would have said Hell Yes, but then I had Abyss Defiant drop during Crota, which has the Focused Fire perk that Suros made famous, but toggle-able, and is Solar. However, Suros has better impact AND range, and has that health regen perk that would probably come in handy in the Crota raid.
I had a good week and ended up getting 10 coins as a Nightfall reward, plus 2 coins from blue engrams that dropped during the Nighfall, so I haven't bothered with the Heroic yet. So I've got some money to spend, just looking for some input.
Note that I do NOT have a Gjallarhorn. Normally during Crota I've got Icebreaker equipped to poke at boomers and ogres.

2 RepliesThat last sentence may be the answer to your question...you now use a Defiant/IB combo, do you think the Suros would be so good that you would want to put the Ice Breaker down? I have a Gally, but in almost all cases except at the final Crota battle, I use the IB/Hunger of Crota combo. Folks drool over the Gally but the real game changer is that Ice Breaker you already have...just my $0.02.
