Looking to try vog on hard tomorrow

I got to level 29 and so I need raid gear to get to 30, I'm hoping tomorrow I can find a group to try VoG on hard. But I was wondering, is there any advantage in terms of loot, to doing it on easy first? Is it like all the other missions where completing it on the highest difficulty is the same as doing them one at a time?
