New Game Informer Podcast Regarding TTK -Etheric Light - More

So Game Informer had a podcast and cleared up a lot of things. It’s about an hour long, so I’ll give a brief summary. First of all etheric light is now useless, no cashing it in but they “might” add something down the road.They also discuss the light level, experience thing. Too long for me to sum up. They also confirmed your year one gear definitely will not be doing any significant damage in year two.The reason why some year one exotics are in and others aren’t is that they just wanted the new exotics to be the focus, but since there weren’t enough they left some year one exotics in. For example there are three new scouts/one exotic pulse rifle, so that’s why Bad Juju/Red Death are in as year one exotics, but Mida Multi Tool will not be in. All old end game content will not be upgraded. Nothing new for VoG, CE, or PoE, no other reason to play than for fun. No new rewards or anything. No new drops etc.They don’t know the exact time the game will be launched, ie. Midnight est/cst/pst etc. Gally and Ice Breaker became crutches because of crappy year one boss/raid design. They were solutions to problems they created.No glimmer cap increase, but that's not really anything new. Also no plans at the moment to allow you to make any cosmetic changes to your char. No barbershop was the quote.The vault was only able to be expanded because some guy cleaned up some code and poof they had extra space. They also basically said they have made a lot of these changes so the game would appeal to more of a casual gamer and reduce the overall grindy-ness of the game.There will be new achievements/trophies for Xbox and PS players. Basically three new strike playlists. Legacy with all of year one content in it. Then Vanguard normal which requires light level 200 and Vanguard heroic which will require light level 260 and both have TTK content in it.For PvP they plan on having matchmaking that will weigh your skill and not just randoms or level.
