Somebody tell me all about Minecraft
I'm thinking of getting Minecraft, but before I do, I want to know what I can do in it. Can I realize any artistic vision I want? Are there any limits to what I can do? Could I build the Palace of Versailles or the Empire State Building? Is building tedious or efficient? Are the pieces unlimited, or will I be encountering annoying part limits like in Halo's Forge?
Tell me all about Minecraft, anything notable that comes to mind.
Edit: I've had Minecraft 360 for nearly a year now though, this thread be old

1 ReplyThe pieces are limited to what you want to mine if you play survival. It's a lot of exploration and creative building. I recommend playing with friends. With creative mode you get unlimited blocks but I find it boring and much prefer the satisfaction of building with materials I had to retrieve from the endless underground. There are plenty of things to do. There are no real objectives and building big things can be pretty time consuming. It's more of casual game so not really for the mlg pro. I love it personally, a good game to just relax and forget about the day with friends.
