Are there ever going to be any interesting characters introduced in the near future such as the rookie's identity, any other surviving spartan 3's, or fire team katana? So far locke looks like an ass and the chief is trying to keep himself together.

13 RepliesGlad to see some things never change, Onyx. I've been out of the game for way too long, but what I need to know is whether or not OB's still hiding. He doesn't have any tentacled monsters to drop philosophy bombs to him, but I do wonder how he's been taking the whole "do nothing" motive for so long. Also, when do we get a proper Lovecraftian cosmic horror instead of this superhero/ONI stuff for Halo 5? The Halo man inside me doesn't want another UNSC/Covie political affair. I'm exclusively hyped for Halo 5's SP because of the Guardians stuff [and even then, let's hope we get less Reed-isms from that section of the campaign]. [spoiler]Bonus question: Have we still gotten an explanation for why Truth was actively trying to destroy his own plan by sectioning off the people he needed to make his plan work? Or is Halo 3's plot still going full blown max overmoron? [/spoiler]

1 ReplyDid you ever appreciate the existence of rumble drugs and how they had shaped the series? If it weren't for Baird on the heart of Midlothian and the use of the augmenter,earths location could have been leaked and all of humanity could have been lost. I know we will probably never hear about rumble drugs anymore but I think they did play a integral part in the halo lore.
