Gay teen burned to death

Crown Prosecution Service lawyer Tim Warburton said the teenager had recently started college where he was studying life skills and had made some new friends, who he had decided to invite to his party. Det Ch Insp Sean Middleton said: "Steven was described by all who know him as a very caring and likeable young man, whose family will miss him greatly. "His generous spirit was taken advantage of and a single thoughtless act resulted in his death."[/quote] The perpetrator got 3.5 years in prison for manslaughter. I personally think that that is far too lenient, but what do you all think?
