I don't really see a huge problem if you can just download the demo and link it. If that's the case then nothing will really change except that some of the less try hard trolls/spammers will go away. If you actually have to buy destiny, then that really sucks for some of the older members and was a stupid decision on bungie's part to block them out, although at least the alt problem will actually be fixed.
