THE DOJO

The Dojo. Located on the diverse planet of Tatakai, the Dojo consists of the largest gathering of fighters the universe has ever seen. Men and women from all different cultures, races and worlds come to train, compete and fight together. Many battles have been raged on its soil, but it remains standing. Here, one can write, fight and talk with other writers who seek to create stories with one another. All you have to do is start typing. The New Dojo(JOIN HERE!)
Join our group! Free of charge! I swear! https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Forum/1677784/0/3/0 USE THIS LINK IF THAT OTHER ONE DOES NOT WORK. https://www.bungie.net/en/Groups/Chat?groupId=1677784 Once you pass your test and have joined the group sign here: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/215168136/0/0 NOTE: You do not have to be tested to join the dojo. Only to PvP.
Who we are
The dojo is an ENTRY LEVEL AND ONE OF THE ONLY PUBLIC RP THREADS. RP is A way of interactive creative writing. Where you can go on adventures, have fights and generally have fun. Think of dungeons and dragons, but its horribly imbalanced since there is not an experience system or dice. Its great! The Dojo loves different opinions, ideas and writing no matter if you are new to RP(roleplay) or extremely experienced. If you have an opinion to share about how to make the dojo better, contact one of the Sensei's that run the place (We would prefer this rather then excessive and unintelligent shit talking). Every work of writing is appreciated and accepted (shitposts…maybe not so much).
How we work(list of Admins included)
The dojo is run by a group of Sensei’s. These Sensei’s will make up most of the game changing decisions to benefit The Dojo. BUT Everyone's opinion matters a great deal. So the Sensei’s will make poll’s within the group for the members to vote and decide on big issues/ideas. Even then, the sensei’s will inform the group of changes and decisions made. The list of sensei’s are as follows: Inflatablepants/Pants(GONE ON HIATUS) The God-Eater/Cob Royalblade/Royal Fresh Cazberry/Vio nullCth/Cth And the leader of the dojo union: Tubbs
OUR GOAL
At the dojo, we want to provide an amazing place for you to improve on your writing in a fun way. We love new faces, and will accept you as soon as you walk up to the door. We also love other RP threads that have really awesome stuff, and we want to invite them all here so we can have a hub world of sorts. Whether this is through an interdimensional portal, space ships or whatever. We want everyone we can to be a part of this and interact with everyone! This way, you can meet people you never would have met before. If you are a leader of an RP group and are interested in this, please contact me so we can discuss further! I like discussing stuff!
RULES
https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212678270/0/0
How to PvP
Player VS Player Is what the dojo is known for. Basically, you can fight each others characters with your own, to see who’s the best or to simply make some kick ass action. Please follow all the rules while you fight, so you can make it as badass as possible. In order to PvP you must be tested by a sensei, or a designated tester of the dojo. You can find out who is a tester by seeing "How we Work." Also, When you fight another player make sure that you always react to their move. The best way to do this is like this. >Have a stanza dedicated to your reaction from you opponents last reply. >Have a stanza dedicated to your attack. If you completely block another opponents attack, its courteous to not attack them within the same reply. This way, you’ll never go wrong.
World Creation(Getting started at the Dojo starts here)
This is the most important section for you RP experience. This is where you make your characters, their stories, where they could live. Also, this is where you can create a Faction to participate in the thread, as well as having access to writing for the group(The stories you write do not have to relate to the dojo at all) Bio's(RECCOMENDED) https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677641/0/0 Backstory for Characters https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/217556475/0/0 Property Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220228259/0/0 Writers Hub https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/220575696/0/0 Faction Creator https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1677784/222042811/0/0
The Dojo
Physical Appearance https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/212677894/0/0 NOTE: The dojo only uses Mac Cannons for any kind of defense. Chapter Twenty Three And so, two men fell to Cain's blade. Ite and Bjorn. The dojo was running out of men to combat this brutal knight. So, the Dojo finally sent in one of its last contingency plans. "Okay, you need to smarten up." Falk told him over the phone. "Cain isn't some side Villain, he's a dangerous man that's killed two of us. It's up to you to take him down. So...best of luck, old friend." The man made his way to the winter plains of the Tatakoi region where he tracked down Bjorn's route towards Cain Coldbourne. The man arrived at the woods that had a large clearing where snow fell thickly and storm clouds brewed. He stepped out of the tree line and in front of a thin line of blue flames that shot from the ground and surrounded the entire clearing. Cain Coldbourne rode out on his skeletal looking horse, blue flames risen from its skeletal features and up towards the warriors seared black armour. He twirled his spear in hand as he crossed over the blue flames and looked towards the man that had just exited the clearing. The man who stood far away from Cain, just so that the cavalry warrior could just barely see him... Was Tubbs.
for Tubbs
• "Meetings" Dojoville Considering that Liara had already made her way back to Illium to continue her Shadow Broker duties, this left Shila iwith JT. And considering his ship was pretty much destroyed... Since she felt people would look at her awkward here, she instead wore casual clothes, consisting of a jean jacket, black leggings, and black sneakers. She was looking for JT, and thanks to the asari that had left recently, she had also concealed her katana and M-5 Phalanx Pistol on her back.
Open to JT. The link is the closest thing to what she'll look like without the mask and all...and yes, that includes the face.
• Chapter Twenty Two The boat made its way to the dark docks of the central isle of the Celtic continent. The boat was steel made and engine powered, so it didn't take long for Arianna, daughter of Irina, to figure out how to drive the vehicle. Along with her brother Isaac the two had made their way through the isle of Shrak and met none other than Felix Coldbourne, the crown prince of the Coldbourne Empire. The man challenged the two to purge his creations on the second isle, as well as the third. So, the two obliged. Now they were docking in front of a large and tall walled city. The isle was nearly complelty flat and its once green pastures that stretched as far as the eye could see turned dead and yellow. The docks were empty as the children stepped off onto them and looked at the flat city ahead of them. They saw the tall paved walls and the large gate at the head of the docks. It looked as if the large Castle of this isle was in the centre of the circular built city. The castle had three towers around its round shape and its centred roof was prism in shape and massive in scope. That must have been their destination
For Orn
• There beith a tall stranger in close proximity to my rectangular glass filled hole, (which appears to be quite the open one). Who is propelling "thee in thy window, bless myself with great knowledge from thy ancient books" from his monstrous mouth. I am most petrified of this figure. Please, some good fellow I am requiring to defeat this creature, and so I will be liberated from this most awful phobia. I thank thee.

Assassination Fascination 0100 hours The dead of night in Dojoville. All lights were off, and the only source of brightness was the illumination of the stars and waxing crescent above, sitting detached in the heavens. The wind was still, and only the songs of crickets and birds could be hears. It would remain that way, as a man wound his way through the back alleyways and hidden nooks and crannies of Dojoville like he knew the place like the back of his hand, which he did. His outfit was strangely designed to replicate a black arachnid, with glowing, red dots surrounding his thin, light chest plate, resembling eyes. The rest of the suit was black, and almost skintight. Around his neck, the man wore a thin, black scarf, which covered his mouth and nose, the ends of the scarf trailing behind him as he ran. At each of his sides was a dagger, their blades sharper than knives, and about ten inches long each. On his back were two items; a thin, two foot long scimitar with a dark red blade, and a single, black compound crossbow. The man was built solidly, his body type a combination between ectomorph and mesomorph. He was about 5'10, and had a head of rather long, brown hair, draped to cover his forehead and right eye. His left eye glowed an unnaturally bright red, likely to be a part of his suit. As the man traversed the town, he finally arrived outside a house. The house was like any other house in Dojoville, its lights off and its resident asleep. However, this house's resident was a killer; a murderer who killed for sport. The kind of person who destroyed families, tore apart relationships and friendships, and broke into happiness and livelihood like crackers. He quickly jumped and grabbed onto the side of the house's wall, however there was nothing to grip; his hands and feet simply stuck to the stone surface. He crawled up the wall, replicating a spider perfectly, until he reached a window. The man took a hand off the wall to grab one of his two daggers; he jammed the blade into the window with such speed so that even while the dagger was lodged inside the glass, the glass did not shatter. Next, the man carved a hole large enough to fit him, before taking the glass out, and gently settling it inside the house. Not a single sound was made as the man rolled into the house from the now broken window; it was silent to the point of eeriness. The room in which he landed was a bedroom, with a desk, walk-in closet, and of course, a bed. Sleeping on the bed was a beautiful woman, with a bloodied knife resting on the cabinet to the side of the bed. It was clear to see that she was the kind of murder that seduced her victims with promises of love and sex, then stabbed them in the heart–literally. The second dagger at his side was grasped and drawn, and the man now held a dagger in each hand. His footsteps and breathing were completely soundless as he walked up to the bed and pressed the tips of his daggers to the woman's neck. In a swift, silent motion, blood was sprayed sideways, and the head of the woman rolled off the pillow, staining the once-clean bed with blood. The man, after wiping his daggers off on the side of the bed, stowed his weapons and left the way he entered; through the window, soundlessly and gracefully. 0800 hours The man was now outside, on the other side of Dojoville, turning the sign outside of his house's window from 'closed' to 'open'. He wore a simple, white t-shirt and blue jeans, and his hair no longer was draped over his forehead; his eyes were bright blue, his skin tanned and smooth. His face was angular, handsome, his body muscular yet definitely not the lifting type. He moved from the window of the building to a desk in the back, and waited. The room was arranged like a restaurant; one that sold fast food. In the top left corner of the room was a television, which was set to a news channel. The television displayed a news reporter, a woman in her early twenties, holding a microphone. "This just in," The news reporter said, unsmiling. "A dead body was found in a Dojoville house. The victim was a female in her mid-twenties, and when her body was found, the head was completely detached and on the floor. Blood was splattered in a straight line, leading police to believe that her head was sliced off by the neck, probably through dual blades of some sort. Through a thorough autopsy report, the woman's identity was discovered to be one 'Abigail Williams', however police records show that the woman had changed her name multiple times. She had a single court case on her record in which she was accused of murdering a woman's husband, however was found innocent in court." The man sighed as he watched the news show, then turned back towards the door, waiting for his first customers of the day.
Open.
• Non Variable experiment Amari was quickly finishing the last touches on a code she was working on for a new device. Whatever it was it had two platforms, a chair and a strange helmet sitting on top. There was a keyboard in front seeming to be designed to have various settings and statistics she picked up from recording fights and battles within the area. She punched in matching stats for both sides and confirmed on both. She waited around to see if anyone was curious enough to try it out, sending a message for various Email accounts she though might be interested.
open. Testing out a new approach to combat that some may be interested. Can be as cannon or non cannon as you want since this is a bit of an experiment.
•
probably going to do a non cannon test run on something I might use on a more high risk plot. Think of it as a little bit of pen and paper mechanics with a coin and a 6 sided dice. If you want to try it out I'll probably be setting it up later in the day. Let's just say it will include HP values and damage counting along with evasion chances. TDLR trying out something that may or may not go well.
•
since people are confused about dojoville being in ruins imma quickly say something. After the invasion in February I made a post stating the dojo would be rebuilt within two weeks. Meaning that the dojo is now rebuilt. You are free to scroll down to February and find the post, but I thought I would let you munchkins know. That being said one sector of dojoville was attacked by the Coldbourne's, so you can work with that if you've titled a location as "Dojoville ruins."
Entrance to the Dojo It was a fine day, very fine indeed, until the ground trembled, split, and vomited a giant knight with a spout of fire and the screams of the dead. The knight was large, wearing blackened armor, large and foreboding. The knight's head was covered in a purple hood, but a strange tattoo glowed under it, in the unnatural darkness that shouldn't be there. Upon the knight's back was a large sword, blackened and stained in a worn scabbard. The knight' hands were uncovered, and they were perhaps the strangest thing. The hands were rotting. Green flesh hung limply from exposed bone, tendons outlined against the yellowed bone and the rotting flesh. The air was filled with a stench of decay as the knight slowly rose, brushing himself off. He looked around, pulling out a map, which unfolded many times larger than it should've, tracing a path along it with a finger. "This is the place." He said to himself in a coarse whisper, his voice long gone. He folded the map and raised his arm up, and the ground beneath is churned as the gust was engulfed in blue flames, a skeletal arm rising from the soil, grabbing the map, then being pulled back down below. "Artifact 201, the Urn of Defeat. • on with the interrogation It had been days, perhaps weeks since the discovery of two Genesis class machines were found to be settled within the lands of Tatakai. Cain, a war obsessed man driven by a twisted sense of need to own the land by force, and Able, one the took on the apearence of a woman who had been found crucified and kept barely alive when she was found. Cain left to deliberate the possibility of having the land peacefully surrender and leave while Able was captured and finaly began to regain consciousness. The first thing she saw was 13B sitting over her with a sword pressed against her head. "Where did he go" Was all she had to say to the recently awoken machine as Bayonet looked down on her like the prey machine lifeforms were to YorHa androids. Something felt off about the room, like it was interrupting Able's access to the network. She couldn't contact any machines. She was alone with the only one to talk being ready to cut her down in a moments notice. "I don't, I can't tell, I can't hear them" "You don't need to be able to talk to them to tell me where he's been all this time," Something was nagging at her, why didn't Able fight back? Was she planning something? There wasn't such a thing as a peaceful one of... them... was there? No focus, make this useful, make this worth the risk, prove her methods to command. They already wouldn't like the fact she brought something like a machine back with her alive. "He doesn't stay in one place for that long... he will likely ask another town to move out for the sake of our kind..." She sighed, something, at least, but was there more she could dig up from her?
open. More Neir Automata stuff
For anyone who was outside then, they were able to smell something that hadn't graced itself with the pleasure of being outside in several months. The odd and rather tasty smell was obviously pumpkin spice, and probably belonged to a warm drink of some sort. Along with the increasingly growing scent of the drink was the sounds of young, high pitched, and childish blabbering and yapping, and occasional yip now and then, along with mewling and yowling. (open for interaction) (you can probably guess who it is) (but if you cant, reply and find out!)

                        • The Road. The day was humid, moist, and gently drizzling 136.78 miles from the Dojo. The little trading caravan had continued on from their unfortunate, accidental entrance onto Tatakai. The three Kajiit, two Argonians, and single Nord continued on, having abandoned their cart and were each laden with one or two bags of good. The Nord and the Argonians were armed and armored, most likely not the merchants in this little group. The Kajiit made up the center of the group, the Nord at the helm and the Argonians in the back. The area was lightly forested, trees and bushes dotting the area. A misty fog seeped around here and there, never seeming to stay in one place for long. (Open for interaction and trading) (No, they do not sell Skooma)

The rabbit ran itself as fast as possible as Peacekeeper, the Geth Prime walked among the woods, scanning whatever it could hay was alive. He proceeded to see a bear nearby eating some fish...and proceeded to scan it from a distance. "Identified. Grizzly Bear. Native to Earth; could most likely have been transferred to Dojo at some point after destruction of original Dojo." The Geth Prime responds, before the bear saw the Prime, the bear going onto its hind legs. "Hostile bear incoming." A Huey landed in Dojoville's ruins, the doors sliding open. Several men clad in sleeveless flak jackets hopped out, carrying military grade M16s. They looked around catiously, seeing the smoldering craters created by the artillery. They split up into groups of two, searching for any survivors. "This one's worse than the last city..." One whispered to the other. The lack of people and abundance of red puddles was disturbing to say the least. "Christ.."
Open, I guess
• And All Hell Broke Loose Fields, just sout of the Last City, Earth Fíonn sat on a rock, looking down at the crowd of Guardians below him. Behind him sat his friends, Pox, Chrome, Sarah, Cayde and the others. There were at least a hundred Guardians here, not an army... But it was a start. "You think it'll be enough?" Wisp asked him. He just smiled darkly, his hand sliding beneath his cloak to fiddle with something. "If one Guar'ian can take the Black Heart, a hundred can take the Cosmodrome." He replied calmly. There was something different about him. Gone was the happy-go-lucky Hunter, he was now cold and calculated. The small army had assembled in secret to avoid confrontation with the Vanguard, who were not amused save for Cayde. "They might try to stop us..." Wisp noted, making Finn laugh. "They can try, mate. They can try."
Open to Splashback
The mad screaming For hours, seemingly without end someone or something was making an outrageous amount of noise. Everyone was being put through the hell of listening to The Lion Kings song "The Circle of Life" being yelled backwards in a blood curling scream. Not to far from the madness was Chesh faceoalming at what he had done. It was no secret he actively terrorized his hostage of a train conductor but it seems it had snapped in the most bizarre way possible. It ran around screaming the song in circles in a mad fit while Chesh watched holding back from laughing while he thinks on whether he should just kill the blasted thing already or try and get it to knock it off.
open. I come bringing weirdness as always 😂
He does, however, seem slightly depressed. Whether it's from Mortar leaving without telling anyone or he just misses his old friends. But it doesn't last, since something from orbit begins to fall. Rapidly. It lands, creating a crater. When the thing stands up, it reveals a 20 foot titan thing. Nekoluga looks enthralled however, chasing it around
open
Aiyanna could definitely sense at as well as she just by the dojo's gates just waiting for something but what exactly is unclear.
open
Dojoville Ruins Middle of the Afternoon In the middle of the Dojoville Ruins a large cloud of dust was kicked up. From a distance it was impossible to tell what was causing it, but the clouds suddenly got pushed away from a powerful gust of wind. In the center were two girls battling it out. They'd become blurs to the human eye for a few seconds before a ringing of metal and the sound of a loud bass drum shot out. The insane, superhuman warriors of the Dojo easily saw the fight. The girls were moving at the speed of sound in bursts, but it seemed like they had a cool down of sorts telling by the sudden stops. The girl with red hair charged every time with a fist raised and yellow energy that ran across her fist as well as her hair, hexagons for some reason formed in her hair. Each clash the girls had the brunette would pull out her sword and deflect the powered up fist before re-sheathing her blade. The sword crackled with almost identical energy to the red head's, but it was a light blue. The brunette spoke up when she managed to make a deep gash on one of the red head's arms, almost severing it. "Ha! Give up, Ling!" The other girl, Ling, just snarled back and shook her head. "Never!" "Your arm is about to fall off!" "It'll heal!" "I don't think it's supposed to bend that way! May-" Ling charged again, having gotten tired of the conservation. The brunette didn't hesitate to charge as well and this time when they stopped Ling's arm was healed. "Told you it would heal!" "That takes up energy! You can't do that forever!" "Watch me!" The duo went back and forth for a couple of minutes until they began to slow down. It got to the point of them pathetically shoving each other, obviously out of energy as their weak shoves almost knocked each other off their shaky legs.
Open.
His C-73E rifle in his hand, his magnum in the holster of his right leg. On his left side, a small green light was projecting. It was only the shape of a cube, it would flash brighter here and there, almost as if it was talking. Jackal continued to pace around, inspecting the ground as he walked. Sometimes he would stop, a red light scanning the ground, and the shake of his head in disappointment. Jackal himself stayed quiet, but he lost his ability to talk a long time ago. He only let out grunts and growls. Getting angrier with himself he would simply just punch the ground, he was looking for something, or perhaps, someone. You need sleep, your brain is only functioning at 34%, you can't focus. It seemed to be the small Cube talking, Jackal only responded with a grunt. Listen, Marius... Jackal grunted again, seemed annoyed. Sorry, Jackal. I know those guys are out there, but there is a very small chance that they actually found this place. Jackal didn't respond, he only slung his rifle over his back. He shook his head as he leaned back on the one of few trees that were there. He gazed up at the night sky, thinking.
open
