The sun was shining, the birds singing, and a large 12ft robot with cannons as hands was walking around and watching everyone as they passed. The machine observed everyone with blatant curiosity, tilting its head in confusion and poking targets after soldiers fired at them. It stuck out like a sore thumb from its size and the fact it had no idea what it was doing made it clear it was new around here.
Eventually, the cannon robot stood in front of the targets and raised an arm, taking aim. After a moment of silence, a loud boom shook the ground as a large discharge of energy was fired at the target and missed off to the side. It landed right in front of you, creating a huge crater and throwing dirt into the air which landed all over you. The bot lowered the cannon arm, staring at you with the lifeless blue eye it had.
