=======================
Minx let out a sigh, closing the door behind her to her room. The barracks weren't the best, but at least she had her own space. Luckily she could furnish it as well, and with the paychecks she got for her service, she managed to get some electronics, own food, a much better bed, and more. It wasn't Valhalla, the deck dedicated to Valkyrie, aboard the R.F.S Mjolnir, but it was nice either way.
Flopping backwards onto the bed, she closed her eyes for a bit. Amanda was so flustered for some reason, something must be wrong. Aside from the run in with the rogue faction now on the planet, nothing else seemed off. Unless there was new orders coming from the shady government back home. ONSC was weird, and Minx didn't trust them.
Groaning then, she rubbed her temples, trying to figure out what was happening. It could be anything, but if it was, it would be announced soon.
At least though, she got someone new to join the ranks of Rubicon, and she managed to convince Captain Zecht to let her bring him in.
Now it was just a phone call, as she reached into her pocket, and scrolled through the countless number of people on her phone. Most of them all the other Valkyrie in her company. Then, she selected his name, and with another push of a button, she was typing rapidly, sending coordinates and a scan key to get inside the Rubicon embassy.

A thought flashed across his mind that it may not be the best idea to walk around with the rifle with him, but it was optional. The main barracks where what they would usually be; a place for soldiers to stay, temporary quarters until something arises and they head out.
-
Adrien tossed the rifle onto the bed in his room then resumed wandering. He thought it strange that he wasn't put in the main barracks like everyone else, although he most definitely didn't complain about it.
-
Most likely the one he was in was for newer recruits or lower ranks. With what he found in his current barracks, he had other options, the training yards, obstacle courses, mess hall and a few other places.
-
Adrien found it fitting that he went to the training yard, as he was rather out of practice as it was.
-
Luckily for him, the training yard was near the testing range, separated by a wall. As he got closer, he heard voices, and after getting a good view, he saw a figure in powered armor, standing a bit over 7"1. Scientists and a sergeant where standing around as well, equipment hooked up to the armor, wires and the like as a scientist bent over a computer was watching the screen give readouts.
-
It soon occured to the 5'11" Adrien that he was a midget compared to most people. The armour looked familiar to those he wore, probably since most manufacturers typically had a few things that made all their armours looks similar in his knowledge. He decided to keep an eye on the person, as he wandered the yard.
-
For the most part the people in Rubicon where normal height for the most part, aside from the odd giant soldiers. The armor was sleek, plating seen, painted a dull yellow. The soldier shifted their arm up, the left one and then the right, calibrating it
-
Powered armour, probably. Adrien had seen the likes of it in movies before, but never in person, not even in the streets of the cities on Tatakai. He studied and observed the armour closely, keeping a watchful eye on it as he analyzed all he could with his basic knowledge of science and things.

The armor most likely hid far more than what was seen on the exterior, as he saw four jets flair, two on the shins and two on the upper back. The soldier rotated their head then, taking a few steps around while the scientists watched.
-
Adrien was amazed that one person could wear something like that without getting crushed to death.
-
He deduced that most likely it had internal supports, along with an exoskeleton most likely. The soldier turned their head to face him then, catching a glimpse and then skimming by. Although after a second they turned back, and a familiar voice was heard. "Adrian?"
-
Sadly Adrien hadn't even considered an exo, not knowing what it was at all. Though the voice he did know, and he gave a brief wave to the person. "Hey."
-
"Thought you would never show up." Minx chuckled then, her face hidden under the helmet as she planted her hands on her hips.
-
"Well I needed a job, and i couldn't pass up more time with the only normal person in town," Adrien said to her with a light laugh, as he crossed his arms and leaned back on his left leg.
-
"Didn't intend for first impressions to be this mess, hooked up to wires and shit while the eddheads run tests." She shrugged, a few of the scientists rolling their eyes.
-
"Couldn't be worse than one I'd get at the Dojo, right?"
-
"True enough. So, how are you liking it all so far? Not the best but its still good."
-
"Better than I thought if I'm being honest. Didn't think I liked it, but I'll get used to the military lifestyle soon enough."
-
"Its rough at first, but gets better. Training will suck, but you need to be able to shoot straight and carry a hundred plus pounds of gear."
-
"Just like the Romans, but with guns. If a bunch of skirt wearing gladiators can do it, I probably can."
-
"Its not too hard, yeah." She chuckled then, proceeding to do a little twirl and modeling. "Whatya think?"
-
"I think that armour would look great in a fashion show. Rubicon's twenty-eighteen spring lineup?" Adrien smugly asked, tilting his head as a small smile crept onto his face.
-
She grinned, striking a pose, hand above hand and her right arm on her hip, turned towards him. "Hell yeah recently designed and everything." She giggled then, standing normal once more.
-
"So are you guys testing it, or is that your suit?"
