The Night Takes The streets of Dojoville, patrolled by the Dojoville Night Watchers were relatively calm and quiet this evening. Minor disturbances of a drunkard here, a bar fight there. Nothing that could truly draw the attention any big players. That was until, the murder occurred. Or in this case, murders. Two of the Dojoville Night Watchers (DNW) had been walking down the street when they heard shouting in a nearby alleyway. Rushing to the sound of screaming, they walked right into a hail of gunfire. Within moments, the two DNW's were on the ground, dead and the perpetrators were moving out, headed straight for a nearby jewelery store. There were five total, and they didn't seem to be expecting the man that would arrive. The group approached the store and, presumably, the leader spoke to the others. "Let's get that glass cutter up and running." The group parted slightly and the member in the back moved forward, placing a strange disc like device onto the glass of the store. It started humming quietly, the glass vibrating ever so slightly. That's when he arrived. Falling from the roof of the building, he slammed the bottom of his feet into one of the five robbers. The robber collapsed under the weight and was essentially crushed under the man. Quickly turning his attention to the others, the man grabbed a nearby robber by the shoulder and pushed him backwards. The robber stumbled back, falling into a second and the two collapsed backwards in a heap. The one unoccupied robber raised his shotgun, firing a shot at the man and causing a grunt in pain. The man wobbled to the side, slumping against the wall of the jeweler store while the glass broke down. One robber unconscious, two on the ground but getting up, one holding a shotgun and the fifth drawing his own weapon. Whoever this man was, he would need help. Fast.

 • “Yes me. Why do you sound surprised, you don’t know my past, where it was, what I lost. You barely know 1/100 about me”

 • "I didn't assume to know." Nightstalker shot back. "I've only seen you fight this once. So I wouldn't know what your plan was."

 • Professed birdsong says no more words. He tips his hat at the nightstalker. Then he turns around and starts running, jumping on the nearest building. He uses his natural claws to climb up the building. Then he walks on the roof into the night and the moonlight
these two will probably meet again
• Another man approached, wearing a pinstripe dress shirt, a white vest, dark grey dress pants, black loafers, and a grey fedora. He wore a white masqurede mask, and wielded a black rapier about 46 inches long. "Bonjour, frères dans le crime," he spoke.
Hello, brothers in crime
He pointed the end of his rapier at the man. Spinning the revolver by its handle.

 • Night watch. This is what the old man had "assigned" him to do. The man who came crashing through the door was obscenely large, about three inches over the six foot mark. He had the muscles to match, which pulsed with power, as one combat glove hand clenched a great hammer. He wore these gloves and similar black combat boots which didn't match the khaki shorts and sleeveless white shirt. In his other hand, was an SMG designed for a hail of bullets rather than power. He raised it, aiming for the shotgun man's elbow and firing before he trained it at the man drawing his weapon. His voice boomed in the store, in the silent air. "Stand down, criminals! You have chosen your path, and must accept the consequences!"

 • The shotgun wielder dropped his weapon, and the four conscious bandits quickly turned their attention to the man who had barged in. "Who the hell...?" One of the grumbled, before the black armoured man leaped into action. Grabbing one of the bandits, he shoved the bandit to the ground before punching a second in the back of the head. The man moved forward, standing side by side with whoever had barged through the door while that bandits took a few steps backwards.

 • "Anyone else want a bullet in the arm? I've got my gun ready, so I wouldn't draw yours. This thing here is capable of spraying bullets faster than you'd believe. I'd hope one doesn't hit you in the head." A bluff, but a rather terrifying one. Killing a robber would be against his personal code, but that said, anyone normal would stand down in the face of an overwhelming force.

 • "Fine... Fine..." The bandits raised their hands into the air in surrender and the man stepped forward, quickly attaching zip ties to their hands. "Give me a hand here?" The man asked, his voice slightly distorted through his helmet.

 • "I keep them trained under the gun. Anything fancy and they get a bullet to the arm... I hope. I'll help you when they can no longer use weapons." Sound logic, it would make sense not to lower the weapon when the enemy had their own.

 • "Fair point." The man grumbled out, more likely from the shot he had taken than anything else. Zip tying the others down, he stood up and extended a hand to the man, groaning at the activity. "While we wait for police, might as well get to know one another. You can call me Nightstalker."

 • "Hammer." The massive man caught the hand, giving it a form shake. Those muscles weren't just for show. Reaching into his pocket, he went over to the tied up criminals, taking out a blue crystal. "Hand this to the police, and say the Hammer was here. Any details of my face will result in more than a shoulder shot." The man dropped it at the man's feet, where it lay still, and turned to his partner in Justice. "That goes for you too, don't need my appearance out with the scum."

 • "Hammer and Nightstalker... Quite the names for wannabe vigilantes..." Nightstalker chuckled softly before nodding his head. "I'll make sure of it."

 • The man out the gun away, content that no one had died, And his reputation would build. Did the old man see him now? "You seem like a nice guy, and I'd help you with the wound, but I got no medical knowledge, it'd be best if the police handle you." He tapped the head of the hammer against his palm with a growl at the prisoners they had caught, and placed the weapon on a leather loop attached to his shirt to keep it in place. "Ah well. I'm just trying to keep he people safe. Hopefully legend spreads of a mighty hammer, and the thugs will go back to the real dark places." He lowered his voice, as if not to let the prisoners hear, though they probably couldn't anyway, with the sound of sirens. "Remember, I got no face." And with that, he began leaving through a back door.

 • "HEY..." Nightstalker called out, going after Hammer and stopping him before he could leave. "Us Vigilantes gotta stick together ya know... I could use some proper training. Be of more use than I am now..." He was right... In a sense. Working together would benefit them both, but if one were to be caught and apprehended for anything. Than the other would go down as well.

 • "Well first thing, I'd bring a gun. Second, I can't train you. My style uses this hammer, and my hand to hand wouldn't be fit to someone like you. It's like a rhino teaching a monkey to charge headfirst into the opponent. Doesn't work." The man's words were harsh and cold, but true. He had not used hand to hand, but considering his build... "You seem like a fella with cash, there are plenty of good trainers. Besides, this vigilante thing is... Not permanent. I gotta life and job, don't need interference."
