Woods around the Dojo...
Daun had gotten tired of sleeping under tree and hastily made shelter, and after having been on the road for a while she decided it was time for her to make a nicer living area, if only temporary. She was fortunate to have command over nature, one of her shamanistic powers, as she ascended a staircase made of vine and wood, surprisingly rigid as it led up and up.
It led up maybe about 30ft into the air, though the trees in this section ascended even higher. It connected to a large circular platform around the tree, a balcony rail keeping people from falling off the fairly wide section platform made of the same materials as the staircase. The lowest platform was a mere 10ft off the ground, a large hole in the center for one to descent into the lake around it, a staircase descending into it. The highest platform ascended above even the treetops, Maybe 60ft or so in the air and large enough to have a clear view from miles. Some platforms had walls, others did not, all made of dark green vine and dark spruce like wood though, natural glowing plants and such acting as lamps. There were only a few platforms built as of now, though more were forming even as she admired the view...
As she looked over the balcony on a platform maybe 15ft from the ground, she was pleased with her work, removing her mask as she so rarely did as she took a deep breath in. The clean air of the first hit her face with a cool breeze. Birds chirped around her and animals continued on their business as if the structure had always been there, the few platforms that had been built being enough for her for now.
preferably don’t start on the staircase up or anything. Start by just discovering it or something.
“In a sense, yes. I prefer to go by a shaman though, as it’s what my people refer to it as.”
-
“Priest then, good to know. I didn’t smell anyone else on you or I wouldn’t have walked in here.”
-
“I’m not exactly a people person. The only others out here really are my Forest Guardians, and other spirits.”
-
“Not what I meant but never mind.”
-
“Oh, you meant another spirit I presume? Being a shaman I do interact with many of them, being a bridge for them here is one of my duties.”
-
“More specific than just spirit.”
-
“A specific spirit then? I’d be happy to mediate any dispute.”
-
He barks in laughter. “My dear little Masque, Mab and Titania themselves can’t get me and my brother to get along.”
-
“Fair enough, I was simply offering to do my job as Shaman.”
-
“It’s no problem. It is simply in our nature.”
-
“So it seems.” she says chuckling a bit. “Spirits seem to have problems with each other as much as humans do sometimes.”
-
“True. But you humans have much more uncivilized conflicts.”
-
“I won’t deny that’s generally true. My people usually try to keep out if fights but other tribes mistaken inaction for weakness.”
-
“Those other tribes have clearly never seen an investment broker.”
-
“We’re what many would consider tribal people. They haven’t met one before
-
“Take a look up, and slightly behind you.”
-
She did so, her hand on the warspikes on her side just in case
-
“Tell me, can you see the joke passing by?”
-
She turned to look st him. Even with the mask on her face she could tell her expression was unimpressed. “And now I understand even more why only Shaman communicate with spirits.”
-
He chuckles evilly.

Daun would see a gigantic, but beautiful eagle flying above the trees that is made entirely of gold and it almost glows in the sunlight. It’s wingspan is a massive 12 and a half feet. All it seems to be doing is flying around in the sky like it was just set free, but as a shaman you suspect more to the beautiful bird.
-
The bird would hear a voice in its head, speaking softly and kindly. Please, descend. The voice said as a roost appeared for it, lower down. Daun recognizes the beauty of the bird, curious to see if it was a familiar or shapeshifting.
-
The bird would fly down but past the roost and would land next than the woman. If your as powerful as I think you are then you would be able to tell the bird is a shapeshifter.
-
she suddenly starts hearing haunting beautiful music coming from the woods around her, and another sound, footsteps
-
Daun would find herself curious about the sound, summoning a vine with a small wooden platform to take her to the ground. She would then move silently towards it, not making a sound she approached the sound.
