*It had been a few days since Alpha had restored Sapphire’s hearing, and she still wasn’t used to its return. Her eardrums had been burst years ago, and since then she had lived in complete silence. But now, the world had changed again.*
*Nothing sounded quite like it did before the accident, and the non-stop noises that constantly lingered in the background had stolen hours of sleep from her the past couple nights. She was still thankful for Alpha’s gift, however. She had opened up a new landscape to Sapphire, one she had greatly missed.*
*The landscape had changed though. For starters, it had never felt like an actual landscape before. Sounds didn’t just come from somewhere, they were somewhere and they moved.*
*She walked throughout the city, marveling at every sound, from the cool breeze which stretched past her ears like a long curtain, to squeaky brakes which which stabbed like knives without physical form. Through all her attention to what she heard, she failed to notice the person standing in her path.*
Open, that person is you.
*She leads Estonia to apartment number 23 and opens the door.* Well, this could be your new home.
