Mulligan, a familiar face, a skeleton in a black trench coat, dress pants, and reading glasses to most everyone else, walks in to the docks main arena
Oh how I missed this place
as he steps done the ground beneath his feet starts to fade purples, which he is surprised by
Oh, that much has changed
i lift up my right hand as my cephalon (a green-purple sentient Datamass basically) materializes
Riven, frequency changed, would you mind?
of course sir!
the purple fade back to its origin point
you probably don’t know me, hi I’m Mulligan, I used to “teach” magic at the ORIGINAL dojo back in 2013, Jesus I’m old, since then I kinda just disappeared while occasionally re-appearing, anyway, combat magic specialist, is actually 3 mulligans which are always of doing some other task, here to have fun (again)
Lets do this!!!

"Combat. Okay.." It had been a while since Victoria had engaged in combative exercises, and indeed, combat in general. A soft clanking of plate armor approached and drew close to the arriving Mulligan. His opponent appeared to be some sort of knightess: a warrior whom adored herself with a heavy black armoring, yet futuristic elements were still notorious among the dark ceramite that armored her being. The armoring itself would have light engravings within it's plating: holy fleur de lyses and eyeless skulls, swirling shapes and links traversing the armoring's surface. Velveteen cloth was fitted upon her pauldrons and waist, the belt around her being holding what appeared to be a longsword, sheathed within it's scabbard, while the woman held a mighty crest shield in her left hand. "Melee, I presume? Ranged? Magic? Or.. all out?"
-
i extend my hand as a 3 bladed golden and purple glaive materializes in my hand Magic melee for me, but you can use whatever you most comfortable with the glaive shrinks down and rests just below my right wrist, hovering just above it I assume there’s some sort of trial given my...extended leave so to speak?
-
"No, unless you'd want to consider this a trial.. Explain your magical weaponry. Please. If it's life-threatening.." Victoria was concerned about that much, though she seemed to be fine with such dueling still. While Mulligan persisted with a more uniquely styled weapon, she only readied her shield and drew the longsword at her waist: the blade of the weapon was a shining amber color, yet still as sturdy and as efficient as steel.
-
the glaive quickly floats into my hand and extends to full size It’s basically a very sharp disc, but I can throw it and cause a explosion mid flight but only during a short window, either way it will come back to me eventually whenever it leaves my hand, be it short range combo or powered throw, hand to hand wise it’s like holding multiple daggers in the same hand, oh and I’m fine with a trial, why the helm not i gesture to yiu with my off (left) hand Ladies first
-
"Such a gentleman," Victoria muttered underneath her helmet, before slamming her left foot ahead, rearing her being back as she raised her crest shield to guard her front. She would bring her sword, of which was in her right, back behind her shield as she began a charge towards Mulligan, taking off with the shield still raised.
-
as you draw closer I throw the glaive, though it sails just over your head, as it starts to turn around on a dime I run towards you, the glaive goes right for your back as it’s drawn to me, I roll start to roll on the ground, just before my feet would make contact with your shield, I kick at the shield full force at the shield, with the glaive barely 2 feet behind you
im trying to word it as detailed as possible in order to avoid confusion, though it may be doing the opposite, let me know if you don’t understand at any point
-
Seeing as the glaive would spiral back, and seeing as her opponent would go in for a kick with all of his might, Victoria didn't want to be caught between that mess, but she certainly knew a way out. As Mulligan went for the kick, she would strafe to his right, shield still raised as she stepped away from his kicking form. In truth, she couldn't pull off such a dodge so much.. but if the glaive would hit Mulligan in his position, then her attempt at delivering the first wound through a dodge had succeeded.

Edited by SwarmIntellect: 1/19/2018 10:51:43 PMas I sail right past you I bring my arms to my side, as the glaive zooms passed me it tears straight down the spine of my trench coat, I then grab the glaive as it bounces of the floor and back into my hand, landing on the ground in a Spider-Man-esque pose, the glaive then disappears in a brief flash of light Oh come on! Every time I fight that thing gets ripped or torn i stand up, now just a very faint purple skeleton in black dress pants, oxfords and glasses Well I was gonna go for sleek, but... i slam my fists together, forming white and black gauntlets around my hands from the pearls in my palms, I then bring my hands outwards as a white black spear forms in between then, I the slam the spear into the ground in a flash of light, afterwards pulling up a large war hammer afterwards and resting it on my right shoulder
im counting that as my turn given how often I’m probably gonna switch weapons it’d be unfair to add a attack after every one
-
You're fine, lol. Go ahead and attack if you want to though.
-
oh ok, thanks!
i raise the hammer up in the air, then slamming it down hard, sending a wave of dark purple energy spikes straight towards you in a line, the spikes tearing up the ground of the arena above it
-
"Magic melee, huh.." Victoria muttered sarcastically, while she would only sheath her current sword and hold out her shield: the shield would shift, the outer rims, chiefs, and bases shifting forwards into the air as the central points - the fess and nombril points - slide forwards as well, joining the others in a sort of blade. The honour created a hilt alongside the handle of the shield, held in Victoria's hand as the rims of the chiefs then formulated curved guards for the weapon. A swordshield. Victoria would bring the weapon down, though she would not hit the earth and mistreat the blade, instead hovering the weapon over it as the spikes would split around the sword and her being, drawn away from her. "...Sorry. Anti-magic blade. It's.. complicated."
Yes, it's bullshit - no, I didn't make it up lol, nor did Vic start out with it.

should I use my wizard in this. I love a good spell battle
-
sure but spells don’t exactly describe him, mostly just not guns and swords, with a big focus on adapting to opponents
