”Running ashore, Captain.” “Can you stop saying that every single time we show up somewhere new? It got real old real fast.” ”Well then. Didn’t have to be so rude.” “I own you. I can be as rude as I please.” ”You don’t own me. You own me as much as you own the air inside your ship.” “Say that to the contract and the money jingling in someone else’s pocket, kelk.” ”I have a name.” “And I have an opinion, looks like we both have things the other doesn’t care about.” ”Whatever. We landed. Get out and stop making fun of me.” “Stop acting like a child and I will.” He would pop the hatch open, the sunlight hitting his hair and eyes like a flashbang at first. It’d been days since he’d seen sun, good thing he was taking supplements or the lack of vitamins from being out in the sun might’ve done him in. But he hoisted himself out of the ship, slamming the hatch down as he stood up onto the hood. The old rustbucket was still holding together, but not much else. It was a black ship, shaped like a cylinder. It looked like a bottle rocket, or a firework or such. It was a little rusty and broken down, but it worked... Mostly. It could get from point A to point B, and that’s all that matters. He took a sharp look downward, and jumped down. He saw who he was after. A tall man, one who was rather infamous in a few other planet’s databases. A hefty fine was placed on his head, one that he just had to claim. Money makes the world go round, and Theodynn Reikals would make it spin like a top if he had his way. He began walking with a crowd, he didn’t know where he was on the planet. He’d just have to guess and hope he was near a major settlement. It seemed he was, from the amount of shops and such that he had seen throughout the time he’d been there, which was all of about thirty seconds. He was waiting. Waiting for him to turn down a corner or something like that. Some place secluded, he didn’t want the local law finding him once he’d done his deed. The man he was after was dressed in a trench coat, one that could’ve held many surprises. Many would know him by his common name, but only a few new what he was really called. Charles LeCant. The Vampire Hunter. Eventually, Theodynn got his wish, the man turning down an alleyway. The Vampire Hunter wouldn’t be hunting that much longer, especially if he kept down this path. Theo would jog up to him, and tap on his back, and Charles would turn to face him. Vampire Hunter: “Yes? Who might you be, that you would tap on the shoulder of one so mighty?!” The Vampire Hunter would chuckle and claps his hands together, staring down at the much smaller man. His toothy, white smile was visible, as were his firey, blue eyes. “All jokes aside, what do you want? I’ve got a schedule to keep, and I can’t waste any time. By that I mean I have all the time I want and I have nothing going on.” Theodynn would put his hand at his side, down where a prism-like charm would hang. It was about the size of his fist, and he put his hand around it. He didn’t have much on to cover his face, just a rainbow-colored bandanna and a pair of shades. He looked up at Charles. Theodynn: “Yeah, just one question. How many people want you dead? Just go get a number, I’ve heard about your exploits.” The Vampire Hunter’s smile gets even larger as he unfolds his hands, looking at him like this was just a normal question. Vampire Hunter: “Sit down. We’ll be here for a while. Let’s start off with religious organizations! The Pope, Tom Cruise, whoever the hell leads the Mormons, probably Je-“ He was cut short by a thin line appearing across his neck, and Theodynn replacing the prism on his belt. Theodynn: “Don’t care. One of them hired me. Don’t even know who. But your corpse has a lot of money pinned on it, so...” He snaps, and blood erupts from Charles’s neck, him falling to the ground. Theodynn snaps a few pictures with his phone, and then begins to walk off, blood now all over he front of his rainbow-colored armor.
Open.
• James walked up to Theodynn, clapping. "Thank you, thank you so much for avenging my spectral when I was dead."

 • “First off, I don’t know who the hell you are, and it wasn’t just avenging you. Millions probably just breathed a sigh of relief knowing he’s dead. Perhaps more, if I’m lucky. Get paid more that way. Now what do you want?”

 • "James Smith. I'm your next paycheck. I want you to find someone. I have more than just glimmer. The shit's programmable. I can turn it into anny currrency," James replied.

 • “Depends how much you’re paying. I take payment in any currency at all, so whatever will do. Though I take estimates in the traditional American Earth dollar, makes it easier to file taxes.”

 • "500 American Dollars, minimun. It can be multiplied if needed."

 • “Yeah multiply it by about ten. I just killed someone worth millions, and you think I’ll just take five-hundred dollars? Chump change. And I take payment up front, usually half.”

 • "Five thousand dollars," James shrugged, "Okay." He tinkered with a cube glimmer until a briefcase appeared. James said, "The man's name is Chase Mantz. Six foot tall. Black hair. Pale. Has a puma, wears a plumed helmet. I need you to find him and this transmat beacon," he gave Theodynn the patrol beacon, "In the area."

 • "Charles!" Alex rushed to the dead man's side, kneeling down and giving him light shoves as if not believing he was dead. "Get up! C'mon, get up!" She kept pushing and shaking the body, panicking.

 • Nothing. He was completely dead. Though there was one strange thing. His smile was still apparent on his face, even with blood splattered all over his nice, white teeth. The elf man walked back over, his ears keen to what she was saying. “You know him? Killed a lot of people. Did a lot of bad things. If you knew him well, my condolences, but somebody like that shouldn’t have been allowed to walk free. So I fixed that problem. Money was a bonus.”

 • Alex turned to face the man, making an animalistic growl, baring her large fangs more out of rage than as to purposely try and threaten the guy. "You!"

 • “Yep. Me. Killed the guy. He completely deserved it. Getting paid a shitload for it to. What are you gonna do? Get mad? Kill me? Heh. You do that and a lot of people will be out their best man. And you don’t wanna piss off the people I work for. So go ahead, get angry, get your revenge. If you wanna. I mean, I kinda wanna leave, but I can tussle if it comes to it.” He put his hand down onto his prism again. She made a move, she’d suffer the same fate the Vampire Hunter had.

 • "He was my only friend...and you killed him!" She yelled, the fire covering parts of her body growing a little in temperature and size. "What makes you think I care about people being pissed about your death?!"

 • “Because then you die. Gods, it’s like I didn’t just explain this...” His fingers ran over the prism some more, and he smiled behind his bandanna. This wasn’t his first rodeo, he had plans for things like this. He may be a little short, but he was by no means a pushover at all. “Your friend is dead. Deal with it. I was only paid to kill him once, so go do some bullshit to get him back for all I care. I’m just getting my cash and getting some more work. And if you attack, only one of us is leaving here. And he’s got a set of rave lights in his armor.”

 • "Rave lights are gay..." She sneered, chuckling a little. "Like you can repeat what you did to Charles so easily against me..."

 • “I probably can. Don’t underestimate what I can do. Last person who did that ended up in seventeen different pieces, one ended up in his daughter’s soup. So don’t test me. And just in case you don’t believe me...” In a flash, there was a small line across her cheek, and he was gripping the prism in his left hand.

 • The shallow cut did little toward her anger as a small amount of glowing, bright orange blood leaked out and sizzled as it touched the air causing smoke to rise. "You're dead." Alex got on all fours and lunged forward like a predator, moving at an incredible speed with fast acceleration.

 • He deftly stepped away, off to the left, as he pulled his bow out and digistructed the string. It was just like slaughtering those tribals down on that one jungle planet he couldn’t remember the name of. The velocity of her charge would leave a gigantic opening for him to fire an arrow or two, and so he did. Upon the dice roll, he would pull out an acid arrow, knock it, and let it fly. If it were to hit, it would cause acid to pour over her body, slowly burning it.

 • With her arms out in front, she simply bashed it to the side by the shaft with one hand as she landed beside him. Her fire died out suddenly, exposing her while claws shot out from her fingers and she swung her other hand at his midsection.

 • Even hitting the arrow shattered the glass tipping of it, splashing acid all over her. It was something extremely strong, whatever it was. It was already burning away nearby grass, it would wreak havoc upon a body. Yet again, all he would do is dance out of the way, this time intentionally falling backwards, so it would only catch the armor and not his body. He flicked a switch on the collar of his armor, and lights from it began to flicker at a blinding pace, enough to give some people a seizure.

 • The acid dug in her skin and caused a scream of pain before it evaporated swiftly. She slammed her hands upon the ground, an AoE wall of fire moving outward from her.

 • The fire would wash over him, and he would also yell out in pain. It must’ve burnt him in the armor, because strangely his face and hair was alright for the time being. He would quickly launch a dagger clean at her center of mass, one that could possibly do some very major damage.

 • Alex tried to move, only for the knife to land a hit on her left arm as she breathed fire at the techno-elf.

 • She could tell it hurt him, as he became more sluggish and his face became red. His sunglasses fell from his face, and the bandanna burned away. His face was one of seriousness, and it read that of pain. He knocked another arrow, and it was one of, regrettably, fire. Though he did not know this, and fired it anyways. It was met with shitty results, the arrow breaking and showering her in more fire. “Oh godsdammit!”

 • Alex suddenly stopped, looking around as if she heard something before snarling at the man once more. "You're lucky..." She turned and got on all fours, climbing up a building and running away.

 • He chuckled, gripping the prism again. If only he’d had a few more seconds. He had a plan, probably would’ve killed her pretty damn fast. He wouldn’t hold any of this against her, there was no reason to. He had a bit of a sunburn and his bandanna was burnt away, big deal. Wasn’t like she actually hurt him or anything. He got up, dusting himself off, and walked away.
End unless you got something else planned.
