How would you like Destiny competitive ranking system?

Where the players match other players of same rank

Same, but where they look at stats more, kd, spm..

Or where they just mix players in random (Like cod

How would you like it to work? Kinda like in Halo 3 where you didn't rank up because of the time you spent on the game, but the amount of wins/looses you had. Or like in Halo reach where it just was a LOOONG grind to hit max rank. And should low-level players play against mid-high level players? Or should the match their own level and experience? Please let me know what you think :)
