Can't decide!

Like you all,I cant wait to play Destiny! However, my only problem is to decide to play it on my current-gen PS3 or to get a new Ps4 for a next-gen experience? Is it really worth the money? Oh, and i dont plan on buying ot for both consoles...its much too expensive for me. So is it smarter to stick with current or next gen and is it really worth it?

    • Next Gen consoles might have more content than the current gen so if you're REALLY wanting to get the most you can out of the game, you'd probably have to get the next gen version. Plus, by the time the game is released people will have saved enough money to go down and purchase the new consoles so you'll probably have a harder time on current gen to party up and go explore (unless you're a solo player). But this is only my point of view, I don't even have a next gen console so I can't say for sure if it's worth is or not. But from all the ranting Microsoft and Sony have been doing saying things like "It's better than a gaming PC" and "This is the future of gaming experience" you'd probably have to consider the fact that they might be right and there's a lot more content to their versions.

    • I would ask myself what are my friends playing on to help me determine which to play on because if they are all on PS4's and your on PS3 you might be missing out a little bit because there's no cross platform, however if your more a solo player or moneys tight I would say stick to what you have and play on PS3.

    • I personally won't be playing on current gen consoles. I was going to, but since Destiny is coming out so close to the end of the year (which is when I plan on buying a next-gen console) I'll just wait a few months and play on next-gen. I don't think there will be a big difference between next and current gen versions of the game (at least I hope not!). Maybe a bit better graphics on next-gen, but Bungie said that they were making Destiny with current-gen in mind, so I doubt you'll miss much if you play on your PS3.
