Space Wars (Are You Ready?)
In Halo Reach, Halo fans got to experience a new way to experience a sci-fi game coming from Bungie in a whole new different kind of gameplay. Of coarse I'm talking about Long Night of Solace, where we got to launch for the first time in a Sabre and fly into space to battle the Covenant. And if you are any fan of Bungies, you would call that mission one of the best in their series. So my question to you is why? Why spend so much money and time on creating this new style of gameplay? Was it just to do it and create a cool experience, or is it that and much more. The answer is Much Much More. The way I see it, Bungie put that time and effort into space flight because they were testing it out for Destiny which was 2 or 3 years already under development. So are we going to experience first hand an epic space war like you would see in the third Star Wars movie, or not? Will we join together as a fleet, side by side to battle it out with who knows what that lurks in the shadows of space. The possibilities are endless. Perhaps this will be a whole new game mode :O as well as being in the story.

I wanna know if somehow your class selection will alter how you pilot your ship or what kind of ship your character is proficient at flying?

Yes, I can't wait for more space content from the new game. I can't wait for Destiny period.

Guys, Imagine finally owning a large cruiser like what Willgh said, but that cruiser is accumulated wealth from your guild or clan, and each of you use it together to traverse the stars as one platoon to take on the enemies. Now imagine several other cruisers and ships owned by other guilds/clans forming in a planet's orbit to take on entire fleets. That'll be the day.

I think with the way development has changed over the years (a la GTA series) where you can have a large sprawling map that requires very little if any load screens, a lot more games are taking advantage of this type of design that I hope there are a lot of more games that follow the lead. I would love to see more games have the space battles incorporated into the design of the game. It truly gives it more of a true battle between two races. I cannot imagine that if there were to be a war of two alien races that they would confine their battles to just the surface of planets.

I'm excited to see how far of a distance you can travel in this game without seeing a loading screen. The less loading screens the better. If you could fly from planet to planet without a loading screen, that would just be plain insane!

Bungie have my vote for ship to ship combat, I hope that travelling from planet to planet is controlled by the player, flying through the Earth's atmosphere and into space would be epic

Im hoping to be able to go from a one person spaceship to a crew opperated cruiser. Space better be a huge chunk of what this game holds
