If Destiny fails...
I'm really looking forward to the title but I'm just curious, what do you think would happen?
Bungie and Activision have Destiny's life all planned out, with sequels and dlc but what would happen if the first game fails (sales wise)? Will they just hope the sequel does better? Will they work on a new game?

we are talking about bungie here of course it wont fail, but if it does (which it won't) they might come up with another idea or something

I do not believe Bungie could let Destiny fail. They are veteren at what they do, and while they may be treading into new territory, I don't think it will be their downfall. They want to try something new and it very well may pay off. The target audience might shift a little, but if it holds true to that [i]Bungie[/i] feel, all will be right with the world.

bungie doesn't fail. Personally I've loved every game bungie has made. Some were better than others but all were very fun and had the bungie touch. Even though Halo 2 was sort of a fail according to O Brave New World, think about how great that game was and how many ppl consider that to be their favorite Halo title. As long as Destiny has that bungie feel, if you know what I mean, it will be amazing.

I really doubt Destiny will be bad. You'll either like it or not, but what they've learned from Reach and their 20+ years of experience is more than enough to make it good.

The same thing as any other product performing poorly by any other company. They would need to re-evaluate their strategies and how they are doing things. And potentially if it is financially worth it to continue.

I'm sure if the company that made Two Worlds could get enough money to make Two Worlds II then I doubt Bungie would have any trouble if their new title was a flop.
