ok so heres the two values that you need to observe when dealing damage attack (the 51 of your gun) and impact whitch is the tricky one beacuse it tells you ho capable is that weapon of dealing the damge it says it does it difficult but i think you understand the concept of critical hits and the fact that areas such as the head or legs in certain enemies are the best places to shoot if you want better results... remember only headshots count....... impact varies depending on your skills and overall upgrades so work hard to get good at shooting faces, and stay tunned for updates on challenges and owr growing knowledge on impact buffers and debuffers....... void damage is unknown at the moment to anyone in the community, but my next best gues is that in destiny, it represents dark matter like in our universe therefore its the contrary to normal matter and energy..........resuming all of this it may be a type of power that deals more damage to say enemies that obviouslly are not pure evil (like the fallen for example) whereas the hive has been seen dealing attacks using warlock-like magic therefore the might be inmmune or have debuffers for weapon impact on their codings...... agian wait for bungie to release officila info or even for the full game to launch.....
