All I can say is I'm hyped. I missed the majority of the stream today, but the one thing I heard was that on the 2nd weekend of "Tech Test" they will be raising the level cap from 10 to 15, releasing a new double barreled smg

You can now download the titanfall 2 tech test! Please note that the servers won't be online until 11 am EST on 8/19
How to install for xbox:
[spoiler] Turn on your Xbox One and log in to your Xbox Live account.
Go to the Xbox One Store, select “Games,” then select “Search All Games.”
In the search field, type in “Titanfall 2”
Select “Titanfall 2 Multiplayer Tech Test” from the search results and then click “Download.”
Once the download and installation process is complete, click "Start" to begin.[/spoiler]
How to install for playstation:
[spoiler] Turn on your PlayStation 4 and log in to your preferred local user.
Go to PlayStation Store and select "Search" from the top menu.
In the search field. type in "Titanfall 2".
Select "Titanfall 2 Multiplayer Tech Test" from the search results and then click "Download."
Once the download and installation process is complete, click "Start" to begin.[/spoiler]
The game is 17.5 gb, so you should start installing now before the servers come on

Spent a chunk of time working hard points to get a Titan at least a few minutes before game end and got immedietly rodeo'd and had the sudden realization I had no defensive abilities like electric smoke to use. I looked and neither titan has it in any of the available abilities locked or unlocked... I hope they didn't remove it... I know rodeo requires hacking now but I don't like feeling defenseless in a 20 foot war machine... Other than that he's ttk is faster, feels almost like cod hardcore but not that extreme. Lag is present, I've died after getting behind cover and in one on one's where I shot first... grappling is neat but would be better if you could grapple into a tian rodeo... maybe you can but when I tried he didn't really attach and the Titan backed up and shot me. Also miss npcs, if this is a stress test it doesn't make sense not having then unless the will be in the next round. As is its usually titans right before game over.
