New Member could use some advice
Hey guys, I'm relatively new to Destiny. Santa gave it to me and I've now got two toons to 40. My main Hunter is at 290 as a voidwalker, 288 as a golden gun, and I have a few exotics but nothing elite. Haven't done any CoO, Raids, or even Nightfall yet.
My question is, where should I start in relation to endgame content? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I'm EST but I work 3rd shift so most of my time is morning for me, afternoon or evening for my friends across the pond.

I somewhat agree with my friend Kama. It's always great to have all three characters to run through the end game content with but I would work on the third character once my others were done with their weekly rewards. I would personally start with NFs and Normal Kings Fall (raid). Then once I completed those I would try to level up my other guys. Your Hunter is perfect lvl to start the Normal raid at the moment so I would try to run that before reset time (4 AM Tuesday mornings) and if not I would definitely atleast do the Nightfall because it is fairly simple to complete if you use the group wall to find two others.

Hey Tweeter, welcome! My suggestion would actually be to work on your 3rd character first and get them all ready to start doing end-game content. Most players get just 1 character to level 40 and start doing end game content already. This if fine, however, you'll be holding yourself back from getting the most possible loot per week. Each end game event can only be done a limited amount of time per week per character. Once all 3 of your accounts are at the point where you can begin doing nightfalls, shax bounties, trials, raids, etc you wont be missing out on loot. Iron banner would be the best example. Say you only work on your hunter and its now at 310 but your other two characters are still 250 or not even level 40. That's only 1 character that can receive the iron banner rank 3/5 rewards and you miss out on 2/3rds of the games rewards from that event because of that. But to answer your question directly, I'd say start by doing nightfalls. They are the easiest and you can find people in our group wall here that will gladly help you through them. Next to that, do the Shaxx bounties and the trials bounties, you dont have to even win games, just play until you get the gold tier package for a chance at 310 gear/weapons for trials, and complete all the Shaxx bounties for a nightfall tier reward of up to 310 as well. Once you hit around level 295/300 you can easily start working towards doing weekly raids with us :) I'd recommended reading this before you do though: https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/1410647/186842409/0/0
