Wow, ten chapters in to this series and I have to thank everyone for reading my series and enjoying. Anyways, please enjoy.
The fire team went to a bar in the city, one of Vulcans' favorites, to discuss what they had seen during the crucible match. Tesmin got off of scouting duty and joined them being informed of the incident by V. They had ordered a few drinks and Silas sighed after a few sips.
"I know I owe all of you an explanation," he said starring into his drink.
"Damn right you do!" Yelled V, "We figure out that the rumors I followed up on to go find you were true and you can control all of the subclasses available to warlocks, and not only that you're over two hundred years old and have never been to the city except in times of crisis. And finally you act all different all of the time and in the crucible your mouth and eye lights change color and you start talking like there are different people controlling your body, and yet after all of this you still haven't given us a goddamn explanation! So start talking," V finished his rant clearly furious at the whole situation he has been thrust into. V was a lone wolf he didn't enjoy company but especially not with someone like Silas.
Silas sighed again and began his explanation, "Alright, to give you a full explanation I have to tell my story. It began when my ghost first revived me I was in the cosmodrome and was just getting my senses in order when I heard it, a voice in my head. I eventually started hearing multiple voices and started to panic, thinking I was crazy. But my ghost had established herself in my cerebral processing, the exo equivalent to a cerebral cortex, and she heard them too. I have... multiple personalities," he looked up at them to see their shocked looks and expressions in their faces.
"But, you're an exo," Vulcan said confused, "How can an exo have multiple personalities?"
"I don't know, we made a few theories, it could have been an unexpected result of my mind wipes, or even that it was implanted there on purpose by my original creators. Whenever I allow them control over my body, and I can control them, the lights in my eyes and mouth switch."
"Well, that explains you acting like a different person in some instances, but what about your control over every warlock subclass and your telekinesis as well as your other unusual techniques?" Tesmin chimed in.
"Being able to control all of the subclasses actually was something I've been able to do since I was revived. Our theory is that the light sensed multiple beings in one body and gave each a subclass. This theory is strengthened because at the beginning I had to switch between personalities to switch subclasses, but eventually we mastered the ability to use them no matter who was in control. And as for my other techniques, I learned and mastered those over the years on my own and with the knowledge I gained. I mean, you can't live for over two hundred years and not learn a few things out in the wild."
"Okay, now how about why you never came to the city?" V asked his arms crossed.
"When my ghost first revived me there was no city and she knew of no settlement underneath the traveler. We wondered around for a while getting into trouble, I even picked up this pulse rifle from a mysterious exo and named it after the words she spoke when I asked questions 'No Time To Explain'. Anyways, when I did find the settlement I was surprised to see that I wasn't the only one with these gifts of the light. But I quickly realized that none of the others had quite the same light like mine. After realizing how different I was me and my ghost found ourselves more comfortable in the wilds, though we did help when the city needed it, whether they knew the threat was there or not. I only came to the city after meeting V here." Silas finished his story leaving the others to process this information.
"But, why didn't you tell us sooner? We're your friends." Tesmin asked although V would argue that last statement to his very last breath.
"I guess it's because I've never had friends before and I didn't know how'd you react to all of this," he said in a sad tone. But, before anyone could say anything more Silas' ghost chimed in.
"That's a lie guardian," she said annoyed, "If we're being honest we need to tell them the whole truth, you need to tell them about Carolina," she said carefully.
"DON'T TALK ABOUT CAROLINA!" He yelled angrily smashing the table. He sighed and put a hand on his head, "I can't take that pain again,"
Wh... who's Carolina?" Asked Tesmin carefully as everyone in the bar was now staring at them.
Silas sighed, "An old friend, or disciple rather, who didn't use the things I taught her the way I would've wanted," Tesmin wanted to press further when an alarm started blaring threw their comms coming from the tower.

The bump

I was tempted to ask about the personality-subclass connection, but decided to wait to see if you explained it later. I'm glad I waited. Bump!
