Suddenly, a Hunter in purple armor appeared out of thin air. The most notable part about him was the cloak. Is cloak didn’t appear to be solid but appeared to be made of void energy, the hood was about the same size as normal cloaks but the cape was just two small strips that went to his heels. “How did he shape the void like that?” Tyrion wondered. “Scans indicate that the void is controlled by the metal ring around his neck” Tyrion’s ghost Ciri answered in her robotic voice. “Greetings guardians! My name is Felix Rumble and I’m the leader of fireteam Recon.” The hunter said. “Hello my name is Angel.” The warlock said. “And mine is Will” the titan said right after. “The Vanguard is where all guardians belong even those that work with the factions. If you have questions about what it means to be a Hunter, a Titan or a Warlock the Vanguard can answer them. If you want to take on missions for the Vanguard or you can just do bounties and patrol the Cosmodrome or anywhere else. Also, always remember you always have a home at the tower.” Felix pulled out a white tablet with a purple bow and arrow on the back. “What’s that symbol on the tablet?” I asked. “Dunno never seen it before.” Jace answered. “Same I’m curious as to what it means.” Ashley’s ghost Holly said “Alright guardians listen up for your instructions for the final test.” Felix announced. “There’s a maze about 10 miles away. When the test starts you all are going to enter the maze. 5 minutes after you start all 9 of us are going to hunt you down. If everyone on your fireteam dies any Sunsingers on your team have 10 seconds to self revive. If you can’t self revive or don’t have a Sunsinger on your team after the timer you are eliminated from the test and will be revived outside. If you want to win you have to get 3 different relics dropped by each class when you kill us. Whoever gets the killing shot scores the relic for their team. Once you get all 3 relics make your way to the center of the maze where there is a raised platform, the rest is up to you. Oh, that reminds me can you please come over here Mr.?” “Ares.” The instructor answered. “Ok Mr. Ares can you please come over here for a sec?” “Eh, whatever.” As the instructor walk past the door a beam of purple energy came out of the door and wrapped itself around the instructor and pulled him in! “WHAT THE F***!” The instructor yelled as he was pulled through the door. “If you all could please look at the big screen.” Felix calmly said as he tapped a command on his tablet. Obviously we all did as he asked since no one wanted to have the same thing happen to them as well. When the screen turn on we saw the instructor hanging upside down from a purple orb attached to the ceiling. “When you’re in the maze watch out for the tethers I put up last night. They will become more frequent the closer you get to the center of the maze. Some can grab and slow a whole fireteam while others can do something along the lines of what happened to Mr. Ares. All of them suppress you and make you take more damage from everything” Suddenly, the screen zoomed in on the ceiling and we saw what else was there, several small, glowing orbs. “Those are smoke bombs on the ceiling. Some just release normal smoke while others such as the ones on the ceiling release a deadly poison.” As he said this the bombs on the ceiling exploded releasing the poisonous smoke. A few seconds later the instructor’s ghost appeared outside. “Guardian Down!” his ghost exclaimed before shortly reviving him. The instructor looked at Felix. “F*** you” “That was me asking you to treat your recruits and the other guardians with respect.” “WELL NEXT TIME ASK NICELY FIRST!!!” The instructor screamed at Felix “That was me asking nicely, you don’t want to know what happens when I ask again.” “Whatever.” “Wait, he’s a Nightstalker!” DS-29 exclaimed. “Never heard of that before.” I replied. “Same.” Tyrion said. “I’ve heard of them before in a few old texts. Each class has 2 elements that each class can easily learn, then a 3rd, harder element void being the 3rd element for hunters..” Ashley said. “What else could they do?” I said. “Supposedly, one of the smoke bombs they make can make you invisible similar to what a Bladedancer can do, they can also make smoke bombs and tethers wait for a target and a special roll that briefly surrounds them with void.” “That’s amazing how do they learn it?” Tyrion asked. “Dunno, it used to be that you could easily learn all 3 elements. The 3rd subclass was forgotten for the most part for whatever reason. Only way I can see another Nightstalker getting trained is to be taught by another Nightstalker. “What about the 3rd classes for Titans and Warlocks?” “3rd subclass for titan is Sunbreaker. Supposedly a clan of them used to live at the tower but after some argument they left the tower. Stormcaller is the 3rd subclass for warlock, ironically the data was recorded by warlocks but there’s not much on Stormcallers. All it says is. [The storm choses who calls it.]” “Huh, wonder why they just wrote that?” Rexxal-47 questioned. “Dunno.” Ashley answered. “Hey guys wa…” “Also guardians, teaming up with another fireteam will disqualify both fireteams.” Felix announced. “Well there goes my question.” I sighed. “Alright you all have 30 minutes to get to the maze and discuss you plan for the final test. Starting location is being sent to your ghosts” “Well if we don’t see each other until after the test good luck.” DS-29 told us. “You to.” I replied. With that we all got on our sparrows and headed to the test.
